I needed this Assetto Corsa Update

about the autoexposure on shutoko: The track needs a big update of the tunnels. So in the current state, the vao patches, which should reduce the day light ambient light in the tunnels, don't work. So you still have ambient light in those tunnels. Therefore the scene brightness is way too high and exposure can't work correctly. We got samples of correct VAO patches of shutoko and fixes of those tunnels and it will work then. So just wait for the big shutoko update. THe creators are working on it.

i hope they have a no hesi mode - inhate using mods sometimes

The AMA PP filters have some good Auto Exposure (make sure you run them at around 30% exposure though)

Still haven't taken it off my system. I see it as a good driving game in general when coupled with all the mods.

Would be so cool if with SOL, CSP, Pure, Natural filters... if there was just a place where we could install all of it in one mod pack, or it was included in Content Manager. Theres people out there who get put off by the idea of modding easily, so having something nice and simple that just gets them a quality baseline will be really helpful.

I’m not impressed. Sun flares in Dirt Rally 2 or Grid 2019 are better than this. Even NFS games have better sun flares than this.

You have to try S K Y D C. it does the exposure thing in tunnels and replicates Driveclub perfectly.

He also has a SKYGT that replicates gran turismo perfectly

Amazing what's still being done with this old game/engine. Let's hope AC2 sets a foundation for the next 10 years! Although I am bracing myself for another Cities Skylines 2 after the last year of disappointing game releases.

i never use pure, and the sun blinds me every time i drive on nords. It's killing me for the first 2 laps until de sun moves. Of course that depends on the time of day you start.

the graphics on AC is so shyte its looks like a cartoon. im waiting for AC2

Modders made AC the best racing game. I have no idea why Kunos made extremely boring ACC instead of working on AC2.

My one and only issue with Pure is that the shadows aren't blue like they are supposed to be irl. In the clip from Gran Turismo that you showed you can see what I mean. The shadows have a tone of blue to them due to sky refraction, with Sol this happens, however with Pure you don't get that at all, they're just a dull tone of gray that is not realistic at all and make its look bad imo. I wish Peter would solve that so much

If you haven’t already you should give a go to the latest version of the C13 Aegis filter.

Also, not sure if you’ve noticed but with the latest CSP preview version released yesterday the physics of the rain drops on the windshield has been improved. The way the drops move in sync with the motion of the car looks really good!

It would be awesome if someone put together an installation package for these mods. Unless someone did? I haven't played AC in a while and I got a new PC so I have to reinstall everything. It'd be nice to get it done in one package.

Looks better but its to far away even compared to ps4 gt sport, just hope AC2 gonna have working weather system on release, and it must be better than gt7, because ACC weather is really basic and have nothing to do with irl.

One thing Gt7 should take from AC is rain. It looks really epic here!

if you want get blinded when go inside and out tunnels, get c13aegis ppfilter instead, theyre simulating that autoexposure when you go outsidee tunnels

It's ironic to hear you talk about "photorealism" and then also "How our eyes work" because most of these kinds of things are based off camera lenses and not actual vision. The biggest thing these games need a better tonemapper to actually go back to the earlier days before everything was blown out to have a more natural look.

“Gran Turismo 7, don’t kill me”, I still don’t understand why this series gets so much hate. Reycevick has a fantastic video on sim racing and how we all as sim racers are focusing on the wrong aspects of these games. Gt7 has more tracks, more cars, customization, decals, better visuals, proper progression than any other skin racer yet it’s seen as a garbage game. Gt5 is literally a better game than AC, but no mods and less “realistic” driving physics? Game is bad acccording to sim racers

The biggest thing that is missing in AC now is PBR materials in the map. The textures of the roads, buildings, etc have no fresnel effect whatsoever which is making things that are in shadow or ambient lighting look very flat.
