I know many Australians who are pretty disgusted with their elected officials and say they should remember who they are meant to be serving (the public) not their own peeves.

Sorry but why doesn't one of the fashion or beauty representatives do something about Vanessa's hair.

This is so rich bagging Australians because they don’t want to see the Royals..but is quite acceptable for the British press…tv presenters…..the public….the royal “gossips”…the media…etc…..to bag the Royal family or not attend anything they are involved in themselves and that is including Prince Harry getting a bagging as well….…..that is absolute….pot/kettle…hypocrisy.

When one of my girlfriends from the U.S. got remarried, her new husband built her a "she shed." Very thoughtful, and my friend loves reading, crafting, and just chillin' in her new shed.

The King and Queen should save their energy, by-pass Oz and come to NZ instead. Australia is still part of The Commanwealth, The King is their head of state therefore the PM, MPs, Ministers etc, etc should attend the function. Aren't more people for having The Royal Family than against? If the republic feeling is so strong they can b#@@^* off and lose participating in The Games and any other perks they receive because of The Commonwealth. It's just crass rudeness at the highest level!
