Thank you for the great review/demo. Quick question: will the dimming feature also work when connecting the wall switch with two wall switch push buttons?

Perfect with a push button - instead of extending the neutral wire from the ceiling box, you just need to close the circuit and this thing works on batteries for almost 5 years. I’m going to purchase a lot of them to power my Hue GU10s!

Which pushbutton have you used in the dimming scenario. I did a test with a Jung 535u, but without luck.

Can't figure out why it's not working properly with my Busch-Jaeger push-switch (article 2CKA001413A0574). If someone has any tips, it would be highly appreciated.

What Gira switches do you use? I thought I bought the same ones (015100) but don't think it's the right one.

If connect two push buttons, can it be configured in a way that one button turns light on on single click and brighten the light on hold, and the second button turn light off on click and dims the light on hold?

Good video, straight to the point 👍. I think the pushbutton solution makes the entire smartlighting concept pointless. That implementation is even more annoying than a normal non-smart switch. But for normal switches it's nice. I'll be receiving 2 of these tomorrow, just experimental to see if i like it. If i do then i might buy another 10 of them. What i find awesome about this smart lighting stuff is that you can turn on and off your entire house with 1 button 😀. Like when you leave the house, punch the light switch next to the back or front door, poof everything dark 😀

Good idea but I absolutely hate that it runs on a battery. Like why? The switch is literally at the power already so why not have it connected instead of being wireless?

Does anything need to be configured to let the system know that the switch is a push (momentary) switch rather than a normal switch?

What kind of switches did you use for that? I tried on few different and dimming not working. From my point of view it's scam.
