I can help you with the timing part. If you can help me with bias part. There is always something to improve.

I have an idea. We can see there are many good traders around the world who uses different kind of technical and fundamental approach to succesfull trading. At the end of the year all of them are profitable. People always ask them( including myself 😅) what is your secret, what is your technique, what is that indicator that and that. But I think the real secret is in their personality.
It is like what said in the movie metrix'" it is not the spoon that bend but you"
We are the spoon and market is bendng us. If you try to reverse it will teach you a very hard truth that it is not easily bend to a small retail trader's will. so our only option is to flow with it but not attach to it.
Rather than asking everybody what is their secret pattern or indicator. Ask him if this happens in the market how is your emotions react to it. Will you be greedy will you be feared or are you calm. If you are calm that means you have a plan that suits to your emotion and risk management . That is why everyone is unique in this market place.
But it is true that you need a technical or fundamental approach to the market to execute your trading. But real secret in the person who manage it.
So the real secret is in the journaling part. Journal your trades and your emotions and ask your self, this has happened and how was my emotions. If what you though agree with the market price movement you are satisfied. And adjust your thought process if not so.


That is the key.

Hi Bernd! Love ur videos. Just have a quick qn on risk management. I realise the commission/spread amounts to quite an amount, especially on a larger funded account. I personally take 0.8x of my position size calculated, and aim for 1:1.2 thereabout to ensure that my loss is around 2% per trade, and so is the win (for a 1:1RRR trade).
