This is an honest question for information . Not a slam or meant to be racist in anyway. Especially since so many different races have dreadlocks these days. Considering how much dirt was in your hair and the fact you have dermatitis, why did you wait three years to do this treatment? Is the treatment super damaging or super expensive? Does it make it harder to keep the locks or cause breakage? It would just seem healthier to get it done more often. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve done this before, and want to do it again one day! When I did it, I had blue-black semi permanent hair dye, and it pulled a lot of the colour out of my hair (not complaining, just saying it’s effective) ☺️✨

I won’t lie I tried this on my daughters hair and it dried her hair out BADLY. I use dawn dish soap now, I watched a video of a BW using dawn dish soap and it does wonders!!!

It also looks like the detox process tightened up the locs too; they seemed to shrink during the time-lapse portion. Would you say that that's true?

I did mines for the first time after having my locs for 5-6 years. Post gym hair odor was gone and my liycs just felt so much lighter, bouncy, and fresh.

My hair density was very lower as compared to previous year due to hair smoothing. To regain back my hair I started applying Cocoonion anti hair fall kit by littleeextra and it was successful in increasing hair thickness and hair growth. I would suggest if you use it then always cleanse your hair by mixing shampoo with some water before using as it performs better that way. Also when you apply hair oil then heat it a little and then apply. Apply it at least once a week. Use neem wood comb while combing your hair and use silicon scalp massager while washing your hair to get clean sebum and dirt etc and it gives even super charged result.

Thanks for showing us the process, I don't have locks but I do alot of protective styling so I re-cornrow/twist my hair once a week, i find that even after washing the dirt doesn't budge so I'm gonna try this
