eh should have done a full burn, burst is okay but firing a thompson full auto, the whole mag in one go, is simply exhilarating.

A 45 caliber machine gun is just totally a Very deadly weapon. It would literally tear a victim apart! A soldier in WW2 with one would be a lethal machine. When Sonny Corleone caught 3 of them shooting at him in "The Godfather" it didn't show how this would have torn limbs and body parts flying off. Instead of just R rated, it would have been Obscene rated.

People seem to overstate the recoil of the Thompson alot when talking about WW2 SMGs, of course it's not as controllable as an MP40 but it's definitely not an uncontrollable firehose like people seem to think

Handsome weapon. Very effective in close tight combat. Very popular with Marines and soldiers in Pacific theatre. Not so much in European theatre as I understand.

I feel like a gun collection is always going to be incomplete without one of these.

I like your videos really however you should really, yet, somehow find a way to distinguish the difference between a "full auto" and a "short burst" fire.

I’ve always loved how vertically narrow the magwell/receiver part where the mag goes into is, it seemed like magic to me as a kid that there could ever be enough room for any kind of mechanism there lol. I love Thompsons
