Thought about vlogging off phone, maybe getting a separate phone mini just don’t know how much storage I would need maybe 256gb?

Honestly, if Apple ever decided to add oiS and eis on their front cam then all vloggers would simply use the iPhone unless the android side decides to jump on the ship too.
I think it was Htc 10 that had ois on the front cam.

the real issue that holds me back from buying iphones is the ancient lightning port, that's the biggest bottleneck of this device

The question I will always ask is why in the world can't smartphone manufacturers use the identical rear-facing camera in the front? The front-facing camera has always been historically bad compared to the rear-facing camera, which makes it less than ideal for vlogging.

Iphone still have problem with audio when using main len camera and talk behind the camera. altra wide, wide and front the audio is good but while recording using the main camera and talk behind the phone, the AUDIO is very bad and low

Hi Gemini can you tell me if the accessories I purchased with the GoPro 9 Hero Black would fit the Gopro 11 Hero Black? For example the media mod batteries, max lens and filters. Thank you. I am also looking at the iPhone 14 but wary about battery limits and lack of memory card facility.

I really really really don’t like just how good the iPhone records. People don’t need to see how ugly I am in 1080p. If only my iPhone 8 had built in stabilizer 😔

The iPhone is hands down the best for mobile video. It has the best low light compared to GoPro etc.

Bet you would have to buy a new phone before you will need to buy a new Go pro

CapCut is also a pretty good iPhone editing app

Was curious if you can use the DJI mic with the iPhone while using one of the DJI gimbals? I thought the piece in the iPhone would hinder the gimbals movement.

I returned my GoPro. I have an iPhone and I like the simplicity. I don’t need a gimbal or some sort of external lighting at night, which is dumb considering that a GoPro is just a camera.

The problem with phones is that you can't see yourself when you're blogging.

Love iMovie. Pretty much haven’t found a reason to move on from it yet for my style of editing. Once you get into the Apple ease of use, it’s hard to ever leave!

Look into an OTG SD card reader or OTG cable to connect to a external hard drive. Then you can mount directly and offload footage that way. Or if you have a macbook, air dropping them is also pretty fast.

I’m going to be hiking a trail and need to keep things light weight. I plan on bringing just my iPhone and DJI Pocket 2.

Do you have a recommendation for a lightweight/collapsible tripod/monopod that I could bring? I’m trying to keep my backpack 16 lbs or less, so I don’t have much weight to spare.

3 years got I left Apple for the Note after owning EVERY SINGLE IPHONE EVER up to that point. I now have the Fold, and I'm so glad I made the switch. Just couldn't handle the lack of innovation on the iPhone after the two models after Jobs passing.
