Rangers have really painted themselves into a corner with Clement. He's clearly not the guy, but if you become the club that's sacked three managers in three consecutive mid-seasons, how do you persuade anyone who isn't desperate for a job (i.e. anyone good?) to come and be the fourth? They'll be coming to do a similar long term job, under extreme pressure, without large sums of cash to spend on a new squad. Proving you have some level of sticking power and loyalty at board level is surely a must to demonstrate to a prospective coach.

Happy to see these changes being implemented. Rangers haven't utilised the loan system enough throughout the years. Kevin Thomson known for developing players at that level so delighted to see he is returning too.

If we cannot bring in the younger B into the first team then we should close down the set up.Perhaps we could join up with a club like Ajax to rear younger players.

There is a lot of things said about there being unease in the dressing room. Someone is causing issues, who is it and why has it not been addressed.

Refreshing having kevin Thomson back, he should have been given a pathway the first time around and maybe he wouldn't have left, but the ones who speak there mind looked like they would have been kept at arms length by people. Maybe now with him and Stevie Smith the academy will get back to not only producing players but producing characters strong enough to handle the first team environment. Huge difference going from gilmour and mccallum to Thomson and smith, and hardly surprising the last real one with that mentality came through Thomson had a big hand in his development and that was nathan Patterson.

If we are reliant on robbie fraser coming back and playing a part in the first team we are in trouble, don't understand this channels love in with him. The quicker we get academy players playing in a mens competitive environment the better it is going to be for the club. I like the idea of sending as many out on loan as possible, especially to the championship, which is an incrediblely competitive league

The result on Sunday will ultimately cost clement his job. And his lack of style for the league. He will loose his job because of it. Whether that’s today, March, April or a May makes little difference.

Where it does make a difference is what’s the point of bringing in a new manager now? It’s likely gonna be a rushed decision, the manager turfs us out Europe and looses to Celtic twice and already off the bat he’s under pressure for next season.

The most sensible thing is to keep clement in charge until we get knocked out of Europe - but start the search process NOW! But don’t be surprised if we go very deep into it eg semi finals. The squad and manager is built for it. And reaching that stage is massive in keeping our coefficient high, and bringing more money into the club. That extra 3/4m for getting that far could be the difference getting Cerny over the line in the summer. The fans screaming for change now just aren’t seeing it like that; which baffles me. Thankfully Derek touched on it on the show. For me clement stays until we go out, and if we win it then happy days! A new manager comes in around May and has a fresh start for pre season, transfer window and games against Celtic. Celtic have changed their manager twice since 2021, both times in the summer. Gives much greater chance of success.
