Thanks for the video.Just got the 11-20mm f2.8 For my Sony ZVE-10 and was wondering what would happen when I went full frame. Then I see you are also in Japan. I'm in Kyoto.
ОтветитьSo I can use a APC-s lens on a Sony fx 6 for videos in 4k without a problem?
ОтветитьY usar lente ff en apsc?
ОтветитьMy question is the exact opposite - let's say i buy a sony a6400 with the kit lens 16-50mm - the focal lenght is still 16-50 or is cropped even on a aps-c camera?
ОтветитьYour eyes are aps-c 😂
ОтветитьThis video is absolutely pointless. It has nothing to do with photography.
ОтветитьIs there any options to record in 8K using E-Mount yet.?
ОтветитьI get a dark circle even when I have turned APS-C mode. I need to switch off and switch it back on . Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. A7iv
ОтветитьThanks Mr Jason simple and clear have a blessed day sir
ОтветитьLegend. Exactly what I needed. 👊🏾
ОтветитьIt is not possible in Canon full frame camera..😢
ОтветитьWell… I was hoping to find a solution for the loss in megapixel count 🥲 I guess I’m gonna have to save for a new lens
Ответить❤😂😊😅
....
Came here bc I'm extremely confused after the release of a6700 & A7cii. Want to know what's best for my budget. Thanks for these detailed but also easy-going style!
After this, I think I'll go for the crop body, since size is a priority for me
your energy is so annoying
ОтветитьThe downside being as I can see it, your cropping your full frame sensor so your not utilizing the sensor to its fullest.
ОтветитьWe strive for the best quality of photos and videos and most of them watch them on phone screens anyway ;/
Ответить10 mpx is still great quality :) just having better button ergonomics, battery and better grip.
ОтветитьInternet please help!
I have an A7siii and the lens shown in the video APS-C 70-350mm. If i use this lens on the a7siii can I still shoot 4k120 with full 4k resolution?
How about A7RV with a Tamron 17-70 F 2.8
ОтветитьThx a lot ❤
ОтветитьПолезное и наглядное видео, в рутубе такого не припомню
ОтветитьThank you this was so helpful and on point!
ОтветитьFinally I've found your video. I've got a FF Sony A7 and I would like to use it like a compact camera... so what lenses? Your video is the answer to my question.
ОтветитьI have a Sigma 30mm f1.4 APS-C from my A6000 that I want to use on my A7iii. So that would result in a roughly 45mm lens? If so, what are your thoughts on that for portraits and macro photography?
ОтветитьGreat video!
So, if I buy a 10-18mm APS-C for my A7S3 and use on APS-C mode, will I still get 10mm minimum or do I have to always multiply times 1.5?
Hello my friend.. so i own a A7riii. I just got an 18-135 apsc lens from a friend. I slapped it on and the super 35 kicks in.. no dark corners, is it still an 18-135 ??? Or is it 18-135 x1.5 crop. Thank you
ОтветитьI love you for this video
ОтветитьHow come the 24MP FF sensor turns 10MP with the ASP-C lens? Shouldn't it be 24/1.5=16MP?
ОтветитьGood video thank you for being informative
ОтветитьSomeone on a Canon forum said using an ASP-C lens on a full frame body will damage your camera.
ОтветитьKEH = MEH
Ответитьwait then why by a aps-c lens at all?
ОтветитьI just bought an A7siii after owning an a6400 for years. Glad I'll still be able to enjoy my Sigma 16mm and Sony 35mm for now since I don't have anymore money to buy pricey FF lenses. >.<
ОтветитьYou the 🐐
ОтветитьHi Jason, So I want to shoot portraits and with my research it seems like a 85mm is a good vocal length, but i have a ZV E10 so should i buy a Sigma 56mm f/1.4 then?
And i don't understand but why does it matter that it has a 1.5 crop compared to a full frame do people see that it's cropped when i post on social media?!
OMG! Took me a few minutes to process what the '70mm (35mm equivalent)' part actually means. I get it now Jason! Thanks for clarifying this confusion for me. Phew!
ОтветитьThis was really helpful, thank you!
ОтветитьA6400 + 85mm F1.8 = ❤❤❤❤
Ответитьif you own one, it makes sense to use an apsc lens if that range isn't something you have in your ff lenses. but it wouldn't make sense to buy one for FF. that's about it
Ответитьthanks a lot guy you explain very well how apsc lens seems better for video, in fact seems better to have a double packages, once for full frame photo and once for video ^^
ОтветитьGreat video, as always!! But... trust me, this 1-second Brad Pitt can cost you everything you've ever earned in your life 🙂
ОтветитьVery interesting that Sony supports their APS-C lenses on their full-frame bodies.
ОтветитьJason! Apsc lens: Tamron 17-70 2.8 has VC. I want to have a stabilized lens on a A7iii for videos only. Is Tamron 17-70 2.8 apsc better than Tamron 28-75 2.8 FF (no stabilization) for video? Or will I be wasting the full frame low light potential using the apsc mode? Is the Sony 24-105 F4 the best option for the FF if I want a great handheld stabilization if I don't have the budget for the 24-70 gm?
ОтветитьDo I get it right: If I use a 35mm APS-C lens on a full frame camera: I actually will get pictures shot like my lens has ~ 56mm full frame?
ОтветитьIs it true that not only I need to multiply the focal length for 1.5 but I also have to divide the aperture for 1.5 in a apsc lens?
Ответитьguys but there is a catch on the crop factor, even tho the field of view apears to have the equivalency using the crop factor formula, but the background separation and Dof is the same on both sensors , so if you have an 50mm on apc or full frame , the focal length is the same , so the background distortion and bokeh will be the same. even tho 50mm on apc will have an 75mm field of view of a full frame , all those point that I talked about will remain the same .
in the end it's just a crop that why have the name crop sensor.
I do the same with my a7riii and that little Sigma 18-50. That lens is incredible value
