ОтветитьThat’s adorable
ОтветитьMerry Christmas ! I am grateful for you. My appreciation is immense 😊
ОтветитьIm making this !
ОтветитьI've barely crocheted in over a week. :( Today, I made latkes. Tomorrow, I get to make most of an almond joy cheesecake. I hope I can sleep after that.
ETA: I boil cornstarch and water and use that to stiffen pieces. It works great. Arrowroot is even better.
ETA2: in the later 19th and early 20th centuries, 4711 was worn by gay men as a way to signal to each other. Historically, it's also been used medicinally. It's got a fascinating history.
I have 4 sizes of the original 4711 cologne. Love that unique fragrance! Corinna, please send Justin towards the Roger and Gallet fragrances - they are also unisex. I have 4 of their fragrances and love them, too.
ОтветитьAs someone who is 78 and was taught to crochet by my grandmother when I was 8, calling these 1980 patterns sounds so funny to me. In 1980 our myself my husband and two daughters moved to Germany for five+ years. At my age, vintages is in the 1930s or 40s. Lol I love any crochet patterns no matter the "vintage age"!!, ❤❤
ОтветитьCan you imagine filling it with dried flowers or lavender and hanging in rooms ❤this is beautiful
ОтветитьI love that it turned out really cute
ОтветитьOh I love this !! I'm gonna make 2 a pincushion and a sachet !! Thank You !!
ОтветитьI can't believe it I am a vintage person. I was born in 1981. I don't feel 43 but I am. Sometimes I feel older, sometimes I feel younger, but vintage no. Now I feel like I belong in a museum. 😂 Oh how the years fly.
ОтветитьI love it when I see this stuff also happens to others 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIt's a baby hat
ОтветитьI love this! My mother had a similar one, but after it was firmed up and decorated she hung it on the wall. Thank you for bringing back this great memory.❤
ОтветитьI remember seeing these in nearly every bathroom in the 1980’s hung on the walls.
ОтветитьFIY: Sachet is French. Sash-ay.
ОтветитьIt's a cute hat! I like what you decided to do with it. I consider sewing very easy, but i respect the fact that you're not comfortable doing it. You can also use special glue strips that can be ironed on to adhere the two sides together. They're less bulky than using the glue gun. Just an idea. :) Thanks for being an inspiration, as usual!
ОтветитьI take the yarn/wool I cut off after I suture the yarn/wool in the pice I made. I collect them and than I take them to stuff items like a little needlecusion I crochet.
ОтветитьThat kinda reminds me of those dresses you put on dolls that covered the spare toiletpaper rolls on the back of the toilet 😅
ОтветитьThat is adorable..I'm going to make that for sure and a good idea to make it for aroma therapy
ОтветитьI have hashimoto’s too!
ОтветитьI see you're wearing your new nails in this video 😊 Great job, I love how you decorated the hat. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Hapoy New Year 🎄🎁🎊🎇🎆🍻🥂🎉
ОтветитьA good tip for pin cusions is to put a small amount of '0000' steel wool inside, it helps clean your pins and keep them sharp. This is another great job, I love it.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas to you and your family!
ОтветитьLove the vintage color of your nails!
ОтветитьI remember when these were popular lol
ОтветитьIt is pronounced sah-cheah. With is a scented ball/whatever, of fabric. What you just made. The had would look very cute on a little teddy bear head as decoration. I have a hatless near in our guestroom.
ОтветитьIf 1980's is vintage what is 1960's? 😂😊
ОтветитьAre you saying these "vintage" crochet patterns were invented in the 80s? Nope. I was using these stitches, turns, half-double crochet, etc to make my fringed purses, floppy hats, and vests in the late 60s & early 70s.
ОтветитьI think I have this pattern. (70 years old and still crochet strong!)
ОтветитьI love this one! It's so cute!!
ОтветитьI just found out I have Hashimoto’s! I am 62. But I have had a thyroid issue for about forever. But finally I found a doctor to give me the test for Hashimoto’s.
ОтветитьFunnn! I’ve been so busy, have to wait to watch. I promise not to cheat and skip to the end. lol.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas 🤶
ОтветитьCute as a button!
ОтветитьMerry Christmas!
I hope that you and your loved ones are having a safe and happy holiday season.
I remember those ❤
ОтветитьSome time ago I read the tip to use a steel wool inside pin cushions. Steel wool suppose to sharpen needles. Probably would not be the best ide in humid climate though.
ОтветитьHi, I’m new to your channel by a month or two and I got this wonderful crochet book for Christmas this year and my son is asking me to make him something from it and it is from a book from the first half of the 20th century. The name of the book is called 150 favorite crochet designs and I thought I was a pretty good pattern reader but I’m stumped and I was wondering if you could help me figure it out. The name of the pattern is Rose Filet Luncheon Set. Thank you for any help you can offer. I absolutely love watching your videos. You are amazing at crocheting.
Ответитьreally cute for poupuri
ОтветитьNext time, try cutting out a cardboard or plastic disc about the same size as the opening and placing it just on top of the stuffing. This will make attaching it easier and will provide a nice, sturdy base.
Ответитьhey my sweet, i have a question. have you ever found in your historcal knitting patterns the mention of what we now have as cables for knitting? ( not the cable knitting ) but actually needles with cables attached as for round knitting, or did they use a different method? i really wamt to know more, but i sadly lack the ways of finding out.. Hoping you can help! much love <3
ОтветитьLove this pattern. I made this one and I love how it turned out. Thank you! ❤
ОтветитьHoping you are okay, missing you!
ОтветитьThat is cute as all heck!!
ОтветитьSuper cute
