Pak's story reminds me of a manga. There's this streetfighting manga called Holyland. One of the characters, Masaki, explains how judo is dangerous in a street fight. One, people wear clothes when out and about and two, sidewalks are made of concrete.

I'm a Pakistani, I never actually knew Indian wrestling was it's own unique discipline, though that might explain why my family plays a combo of wrestling and kabaddi, our family is of Goan ancestry, we even still keep in relative contact with our distant relatives in Goa

Have already liked your video. It's a total top notch analysis of the fight scene, but I am adding a comment here for the last sentence "Aamir Khan is the top Khaan".
Yes - that's definitely very true and there's no competition to his perfection. No competition to his subject/storyline. And definitely no competition against his acting skills.

FYI, it’s not hard floor, they did the fight scenes on mat and then replaced the mat with vfx.

@Scenic Fights Your breakdown is interesting. I'm not a professional but I love the art of wrestling. From what I understand, it is largely about keeping both your feet on the ground and the moment you try to charge/run/pounce, you're giving all the edge to your competitor in the fight. Right?

The scene shown in the video has a great build up to it actually. Aamir Khan's character was critiquing an ongoing international wrestling match on the tv in his office and his opponent mocked him saying it is much easier said than done. Aamir Khan's character then asks him if he was new, which he was since everyone else in the office who knew Mahavir Singh Phogat would never have dared to challenge him to a wrestling match considering all of them knew that he was a glorified champion not so long ago.
