Omg, the angles and editing of this video make it almost impossible to follow....
ОтветитьI made this tonight for Christmas Eve supper and the pudding came out perfectly, thank you Jamie for the recipe.
ОтветитьWhipped cream would go well with that. I'd 86 the raisins.
ОтветитьLooks like a fruitcake that you douse in alcohol and burn.🤗
ОтветитьThank you for the recipe. I cooked one for New Years following your recipe with a little variation. I traded milk for wine 😉♥️ it came out beautiful on the outside and very deli in the inside! We (5of us) ate le last bites of it yesterday! So, thanks again Jamie! Have a great year! ♥️
ОтветитьAt the risk of quoting Iron Maiden "Wot. No Guinness?"
ОтветитьWow! My British bloodline side of the family made this every year, but it was called "fruitcake" & served without the cream, & addition to the mix of finely chopped pecans (grown locally) & as they were strict Protestanrs on that side (Methodists) sadly there was no alcohol burn. 🥰thank you for sharing this, @JamieOliver. I have always wondered where she got her recipe. She also put in spices, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg & vanilla bean. (She took that recipe to her grave! lol We had ingredients but she would not reveal amounts.) I was told when I was younger that my fruitcakes tasted most like hers. She wrapped in foil after topping with apple slices to prevent drying, & kept them in the root cellar so we enjoyed it until spring. What a wonderful memory this evoked.
Thank you again for sharing. I have already passed my recipes on to my children, & as grandchildren as they grow older.
Pud
ОтветитьЯ читала оригинальный рецепт рождественского пудинга, и слава Богу, что у Джейми Оливера рецепт попроще.😄 Вот такой пудинг я точно смогу приготовить :О
Ответитьthat's not a Christmas pudding, there is no whiskey or Guinness in it...
ОтветитьThere is one thing missing though - the sixpence in the middle!
ОтветитьSo good, thanks.
ОтветитьI’ve just made this pudding but I’m going to store it until Christmas Day. On Christmas Day to reheat it have I got to steam it again. If so for how long and will cook it again.
ОтветитьI'm regarded and I need help. Can I make the filling and then keep it for a few weeks before cooking it? Won't the egg and butter in the filling go bad and make us sick? And if not, why not?
ОтветитьCan you bake it instead? Is there a British Fruitcake that is distinct from Christmas pudding?
ОтветитьWhat size pudding bowl did you used?
ОтветитьWhats the name of the ingredient that you used instead of butter?
ОтветитьYou are amazing, so are your videos! Thank you!
Ответить🙂
ОтветитьYou can't watch this for advertising.
ОтветитьI’m in the US and having a really hard time finding a Christmas putting in all of the stores. I may have to make one but I much prefer to buy the store-bought one
Ответитьthx
Ответить0oooooo, xxxxx crissy sorted James ...doing your individual chickens and chrissy pud...23 dec better get out there and shop...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...Merry christmas everyone...love you J & J xxlol
ОтветитьWhat can i use if i don't have a pudding bowl?
Ответитьhe just HAD TO ruin it with that singing 😠
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing recipe!! Great job, excellent presentation, and looks delicious!!🌲🧑🎄☃️🎁🎀🎉 👍💯👌💝👏 Thanks for sharing it!! Merry Christmas to all of you!!😍
Ответитьje n'ai jamais vu et goûter le VRAI pudding, mais là ça donne envie !!!
ОтветитьHello! You have a very great recipe! Can you tell me what diameter shape you took?
ОтветитьMy most favorite of all! Delicious! Absolutely delicious!
ОтветитьI wish I could make this recipe, but can you even find suet in France? Not sure
ОтветитьI'm so glad Mr Oliver uses the metric system in his recipes - in this recipe at least. I'm always at a lost when watching documentaries that deal with grains, fathoms, pints, gallons, stones and other such utter nonsense. The only one I know is the yard, which is like a metre, somewhat dwarfish.
ОтветитьMy Grandma has an Aga and so whenever we make them in about september, it goes in the aga overnight and what comes out is the most amazing rich, treacle-black pudding you ever could get - recipe is a good housekeeping one from the 1950s
ОтветитьNo sultanas raisins or currants??
Not christmas pud then imo
He left out the coins😮
ОтветитьNo mixed spice?
ОтветитьWe study this reception on lessons of teaching retraining on translation in university! Course of translation in higher education.
Very interesting!
Its December 2023 so I need to plan this for Christmas 2024 because I live in Asia now and it is a challenge to get all the ingredients. It took six months just to get the spices for the Christmas cake I just made.
Ответить👌
ОтветитьWow super sonic fantastic recipe Thank U so much for your great lovely video 🙏👌🤩🤗🥰😘
ОтветитьBut how does your suet look like that?
ОтветитьExcellent! I have made it several times yet. Very tasty!
ОтветитьYou can pick your friends, and pull your pud; but dont pull your friend's pud...
Ответитьi’m gonna try to make that pudding
ОтветитьSuper!
ОтветитьHard sauce?
ОтветитьThis is like the British version of fruit cake.
ОтветитьPlease consider removing your ring or wearing gloves before preparing food. I can only imagine the cultures living under it. Couldn’t get past the 30 second mark. 😖🤢🤮
ОтветитьNo spices Jamie,no brandy?😢
ОтветитьYour energy is amazing.
