Noita's New Physics Puzzles and Unique Wands

I found a couple of these puzzles on my own, I felt great solving them

Wands seem a bit OP

Would be cool if they had puzzles with more elaborate pieces that could be procedurally mixed and matched.

Do Nolla realise how invaluable your videos are to the community? There’s so much stuff none of us would’ve ever discovered if not for you. Your videos constantly reignite my internet in Noita.

You know what would be cool? (said every player ever) a metal that transfers a lot of heat so you can heat it up and it will in turn heat anything touching it, evaporating liquids and damaging entities
Would add a lot of depth

I beat noita today because you made this video, after i saw this i went "might as well hop on noita and hope to see one of those"
I never saw one of those but i beat the final boss of the game

It's not even that I couldn't solve them it's that I can't play Noita long enough to find these because I lose my composure after a few dumb deaths (that are almost always my fault) XD

I remember not too long ago I saw a video where someone had made a terraria mod that gave every enemy bat AI. Would it be possible for someone to do a similar thing for this game, but give every enemy... worm AI?

I found the last puzzle in snow, tried to fill with water but nothing happened, probably not enough water. Later I returned to that location and it was topped up with a blood from enemies around and had that wand.
The wand was quite bad for me - only two slots with always cast piercing shot. Didn't even pick it up

As in Finnish it is quite enjoyable when everyone try to pronounce names of Items in this game. 🤣

YES, these puzzles are amazing. Add such great flavor to runs and make the heavy RNG feel a bit less tedious.

I love the portal spell puzzle in the jungle biome. Fun to do, just because.

They are going fantastic on the development of Noita!

I love the first three mines puzzles they're very unique

I wonder why they didn't implement these much sooner. Having a bunch of simpler puzzles really pays off for teaching game mechanics to new-ish players.

Before trying your wands, just check if they have always cast... just found a daily practice run seed which starts with a wand with always cast earthquake shot, and bouncing burst projectile. Yep i almost died within 10 seconds of starting the run.

these are great additions. a "roguelite" should still feel good despite it's randomness. having some "preset wands" spawn instead of one with random spells is such a plus in addition to the purely random ones. thanks for the video!

Yeah, but where's the seesaw puzzle? ALL games that allows for physics puzzles need a seesaw somewhere. It's, like, the law.

I cant believe they were so simple, I spent way too long thinking what they should be filled with.

Man I really want to get into this game but I´m just not good at it. Keep dying. Most of the time I feel underpowered and the early game exploration to hopefully get good stuff just feels tedious to me. I can´t even fathom how people wrapped their heads around all its secrets.

So uhh... its been 3 days and I found one of those alchemy cup puzzles in the Vault biome. Its a round metal sphere with a cup in the middle and 2 symbols; one looks like a winged boot so I filled it with Acceleratium and got a regular chest out of it. The other one looks like a frowning face but while trying to empty to cup to try Berserkium in it I accidently broke the cup so I don't even know if that would work.

very nice stats for the ruusu? mine had 3 slots, worse mana regen than my starter wand, and no always cast. i think you just got really lucky on yours.

I found one in The Vault with a winged shoes icon on it, I added about 70% acceleratium (with hastium) and it presented 'Arpaloo' with stats:
Always cast 'Remove Explosion' (which is fine if not using explosive spells, and it gives cast delay -.25s)
No shuffle
1 spell per cast
.10 cast delay
.65 recharge time
750 mana max
258 mana charge speed
8 capacity
-2 spread

For me they would make a nice pit to die in as I'm swarmed by 60 things

Yesssss I actually figured out the solution to two of these on my own woooo

I've found a couple in the vault as well. They are enclosed by a circle of rusted metal. The inside has a backdrop with two symbols above a semi-circle. Those symbols relate to what kinds of potions to place within the semi-circle. A shield for ambrosia, the boots of apollo for acceleratium and a heart for pheremone.

this is actually nice, there should be more puzzles like this one.

One of the Noita devs is the creator of Baba is You, a really cool puzzle game. No wonder that Noita is getting cool puzzles now

Bruh I always get booty wands when I solve these puzzles. (Side note) It was extremely satisfying figuring out those puzzles by myself that my brain oozed with Dopamine.

WAIT. that coal pits puzzle area seems familiar. the area around looks just like my trustworthy seed



just in case,the seed I'm talking about is 1447440519. but now it has a wand pedestal next to the water there. which have a very good stat and the reason I love this seed

I found the last one and got the valtikka, it had over 3 seconds recharge time.... useless.

Worth noting is that in the second mines puzzle, the container above can be filled with pretty much any liquid. Found it once filled with pheromone, and after filling it with that the chest appeared, so what you have to fill it with is randomized to an extent. Besides, great video!
