Growing up in Brooklyn in the early 2000s I remember when this show aired on tv and my parents would constantly switch the channel as soon as it came on.

Coming around to finally watching this in my 20s, I felt such a huge wave of nostalgia of what was NYC 2 decades ago. NYC is still here, it’s just not the way it was in the early 2000s. This show really captured the magic of growing up there and visiting the city every once in a while. It’s like I’m watching the grown-up version of My Scene (lol) and I’m so thankful for it.

As usual, nobody wants to leave a TV series or movie franchise alone.

HBO really milk this series to the Max!
