I downloaded the template and I'm only going through the first couple questions, but it is so helpful so far! It is the first time that I feel like I'm making true deep progress with genuine reflections. Thank you for what you do! I hope everyone can succeed!

I just created a spreadsheet yesterday with a years worth of video release dates and video ideas. Its stupid simple but its great to tape to my desk to keep me motivated. Now injust gotta sit my butt down and edit haha.

hey nick/nate! would love to hear your opinion on this: im starting a new channel right now... should i upload one video to start, or multiple right away? i thought it might be good for someone who enjoys one video to have at least one other video to check out immediately and deepen their relationship to my channel, instead of seeing a mostly blank channel page. but i also dont want to kill the growth of each individual vid. love your channel, have learned so much - thanks for everything you do!

so the thing is i have a little problem thinking about something to speak about when i record a video even when i don't record videos im a quiet person but i know that u can talk about the game but when that becomes boring what should i talk about then?

Write goals you can’t control but take actions you can control to achieve them… makes so much sense when you explained it like that. I always hated having subs goals because I didn’t know How to get more subs… that’s because. I can’t “get” them by wishing for it. But I can do things (like post consistently, better thumbs, clarity of my positioning) that will lead to more subs. Thanks Nate mate 👍

Out of personal desire and humble advice; a Notion template would be great. WHY I THINK SO; many of us productivity geeks (who definitely watch your content for nuggets of info that will benefit us) use notion already, and therefore you won't have as large of a fall off when people go to your current template and realize they have to go through a barrier (all the work of downloading it, setting up a new account etc.) to get to it, just a thought!!!

I’m glad you used “high value” to describe your channel because it has always been just that. It’s hard to fathom that all 17 minutes would be so specific and useful to any channel but it really is! I'm about to start a crafter channel and I'm grappling with crippling imposter syndrome. I think your list made me remember my time as a successful project manager at a toy company and then at a gaming company and it made me feel a little more confident in my abilities. ❤

The website keeps loading indefinitely for me but I made a goals list on the blankboard behind my monitors so I can see it at all times.
Hopefully this will keep me accountable :D

Okay, I want to subscribe to an underwater basket-weaving channel now. I just want to see what that would be like. Anybody in these comments who has a hobby-based channel, please make a video featuring underwater basket-weaving, because I think that would go viral now!

This is only the third video I've watched from Nate. So far I am really impressed - he's got great content - and I REALLY appreciate that he eliminates fluff and gets to the how-to. I love the template he's offering, but then I see I have to research Click Up and figure out if that's something I really want to sign up for and if I"m going to get roped into paying yet another fee. All the little fees for this and that handy-dandy or must-have tool really add up and there is definitely research and resource fatigue.
