Never understand, why people call 500$ cheap? When the average salary here is about 600$. And also, why you suggest such bad products? When for the same money you can buy ASUS ROG Strix G15, 144hz, i7, 6gb Nvidia GPU, 32gb RAM, two extra slots for m2 ssd, has RGB, only for 520$ with ship.

That Chuwi appears to be a Lenovo Ideapad rebranded. I own a Lenovo Ideapad 530s which happens to be very similar

One of the things I find bad about that HP Laptop is that it isn't cooled with a fan. THAT THING IS **PASSIVE**, meaning they've obviously underclocked the CPU to reduce heat output. Also this is the reason why most of my laptops are secondhand ThinkPads, because most of them after 2018 have USB-C charging

I have the i3 version of that HP laptop. The trackpad has to be the worst thing ever, it broke I think the first day I had it, it keeps getting stuck underneath itself. I think HP knew it was a problem, because when you plug a USB mouse in, the trackpad loses function.

How can anyone possibly argue against having a better screen? You can always lower resolution and brightness to increase efficiency, but you can't max out more than what your panel allows. The Chuwi display is hands down the better option!

I checked them out they do not have any Gpu options so not buying a e-waste.

Not in the market for cheap laptop but if I was, I’d take better screen, keyboard and trackpad over battery life every time. I own 2 laptops (one MBP, other Razer Blade) and can’t recall last time I had to use them in unplugged session long enough to run out battery.

Keep in mind that hp, Dell and many other "brand name " laptops are actually designed and built by ODM not the brand. For example Quanta and Compal make lots of brands. Maybe do a video on who actually makes stuff.

I bought 3 of those HP laptops in a pinch for the 3 owners of our business for some training items they couldn’t do on their MacBooks. All three 3️⃣ of them had shift issues with the keyboards making them nearly unusable. I won’t even go on about the key spacing, finish that made the keys unreadable in any light, nor the barrel chargers that all three had failed within two months.

i recently got a Lenovo Laptop ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL i5-11th 4.20GHz 256GB NVMe 16GB Iris Xe GPU from ebay 300 pound and had 10 percent off no marks perfect screen 1080 p so got good deal there only thing i have done is added a 1tb NVMe
