Believe me, my time has come, so we installed an upper driveway so we can get into the upper level of our house which we built into the side of our mountain here in north central Washington state

Well, I'm not gonna lie I didn't like this woman - she was going everywhere first without waiting for her father in law to join, she was starting a conversation without him being in a room yet, she was mentioning herself and kids but never him, she seemed like a person who will take all of the main bedrooms etc but that's why I love David even more. He made Andy included in the experience. When she was taking over, David was redirecting attention towards Andy, wanting to know his point of view as well. I think it's one of the most amazing acts of kindness.

I would have gone higher in price for that location & size!!

what I dont get about this show is that the participants always choose a house. It never happens that they see the 3 options and they are not convinced and they say they want to keep searching.

The daughter in law acted like she won the money. Wanting the bedroom with the hot tub. Acting like Andy was buying the house for her. Very privileged and selfish person. I hope and pray Andy takes the best Master with a bath and I hope daughter in law reads my review.

I felt the same way about the daughter in law. Did I not understand at the beginning? Are they going to be living with him or just visiting? It felt like they were going to move in. My only concern is all three locations had tons of stairs which might become a mobility issue in the future for him. I only say this 'cos I use a cane myself and was cringing at all the stairs. Beautiful homes, though.😊

Great choice. Yes, it has stairs, but he has enough money to install an elevator or stair lift.
I think people are a little hard on the DIL. She was a little annoying, sure. But she was upbeat and acted like the kids would be a big part of his life. And they are. In the end, it's all about family.

I agree. Saw this episode on my tv and immediately noticed how self entitled this lady is acting as if it's her money . I picked up my phone to look for this video and see the comments, and they did not disappoint lol. She was making it all about her her her .
