ThunderE what is your main daily-use smartphone & why?
ОтветитьAndroid copied it but improved it to be more functional.
ОтветитьWhat happens when you wanna split screen and the specific app is not in recents?
ОтветитьFirst notch ,now gestures. Android is apple loadest voice for why to switch to iOS.
ОтветитьGoogle gestures are kind of pointless you don't actually get more screen realestate and there are still button OnePlus 5t has the best gestures in my opinion plus no buttons . That's how its done
ОтветитьGestures and animations are beautiful on ios its looking stupid on android
ОтветитьI wish there was a way to lock Navigation key on my Pixel. It would greatly help while playing game. Samsung really rocks! Samsung have this wonderful function & many other unique & useful features. Gesture would help in eliminating accidental press, but unfortunately they didn't remove back & reduce the navigation screen area due to which accidental press will occur while gaming. Third party navigation gesture app work only if the phone has physical button cause they cannot replace the system soft keys on non-rooted phone.
ОтветитьiOS animation is smoother now!
But google would beat iOS in final release 🔥
I remember a time when I wanted the Palm Pre so bad lol
ОтветитьI love the shirt. How is Pea Pod the pocket squirrel.
ОтветитьBut it still need space on the screen :( I'm a android fan. But Apple wins this round
ОтветитьOnePlus does it even when screen is off, the only gestures that matter.
ОтветитьI think one Plus gestures are better even tho it's copying Apple. Android P gestures look retarded as of now. Why have a back button at all or that line in the middle. It should disappear after the 1st tutorial. I use edge gestures and Love it on my s8 especially since Samsung let's u hide the navigation buttons
ОтветитьDo you really have to close apps one at a time? I prefer the "close all" button on my Note 8 and S9+
ОтветитьI got that shirt... Shout out to Target !
ОтветитьI'm fine with the guestures on Android p. Everybody not going to like it, but all OEMs are not going to implement it like Google. If u don't like it buy a Samsung , OnePlus, or Huewei. That is in beauty of Android.. Everyone devices does not have to be the same.
ОтветитьPixel automatically wins because NO NOTCH! 😉
ОтветитьI hate Pixel and One plus icons pack, it looks so oldish 👎👎👎
ОтветитьLol ios wins easily, android is more complicated now.
ОтветитьSo you are telling that iOS has more learning curve than Android P ? 😂😂😂
After seeing Android P it's a even steeper learning curve. and it's cluttered as well
Android p is better
Ответитьsamsung experience will do those gestures better.
ОтветитьAndroid copied Apple- as usual. lol.
ОтветитьGestures come from webOS!
ОтветитьThis there a gesture for something like double taping the multi tesk
ОтветитьPalm Pre wins!
ОтветитьWhy does the iPhone seem so stuttery. You would think the iPhone is the one running a beta software.
ОтветитьAndroids gestures looks disgusting compared to Apples
ОтветитьCalm down kiddies. It's optional, as always. This isn't iJailOS
ОтветитьI don't like gestures period especially a whole UI based on it
ОтветитьXiaomi's application of gestures on their UI is the simplest and in my opinion the best. I am using it on my Xiaomi Redmi 5 and using the whole 5.7" touch screen without any buttons provides immersive usage of the device.
ОтветитьYou don’t have to swipe up and hold on iOS you can just swipe up and right and it is way faster
But we are dealing with an Android fanatic that doesn’t use the iPhone enough to learn about the simplicity and the smoothest of iOS
I can't wait to get this on my S9+ 😂
Ответитьyou dont have to swipe up twice to get to the app tray! you can just long swipe to open app tray! why every reviewer forgets that! 😒
ОтветитьThose swiping gestures Seems so tedious in general, hope it will be as option as far as can be.
ОтветитьIf you swipe from the right a little slower you don't have swipe twice to get the app drawer.
ОтветитьIsnt it amazing how all of these so called phone "reviewers " aren't saying anything about Google blatantly copying apple ? Let's all pretend that google isnt copying apple
1. No headphone jack
2. 3d touch
3. Notch
4. Gesture control
Where you from sound Caribbean
ОтветитьI think both gestures are great, but I think I prefer the Android P version. Would be cool if we could turn up the transparency or something on the pill and back button so they could be not seen in apps once you get used to using them.
Ответитьhey handsome
ОтветитьComing from a Stock Android user, apple takes this when it comes to gestures. I know people don't want to hear people complain about the notch, it's getting old. But that's so much of a deal breaker for a lot of people. I can't believe people bought a phone with a cutout on the screen. Even with the new Chinese knockoffs coming out....those notches. Yuck. I doubt people would buy a TV with a notch.
ОтветитьÀpple gesture is better. Because in Android you because swipe Up 2 times, to open app drawer.
Ответитьbring in the orinator , a blackberry 10 phone.
ОтветитьThe OnePlus gestures is good too, more clean. But I think Android is still ahead, because of the implementation of the search right in the Multitasking, that is available anywhere in the interface. Great idea.
ОтветитьRemember that is an Android beta preview, imagine the final version could have a radical change if developers hear users
ОтветитьCompanies goes out of touch not including the headphone jack.
ОтветитьHate when people get on the “oh no you now have to drag from the top of the screen to get to Control Center on iOS and that’s inconvenient”.. forgetting to mention that it’s always been like that on Android anyway and on Android it’s an even clunkier implementation with the weird pull down further on the notification tray action.
Also, the Android actions are easy as peas but iOS has a bit of a learning curve? You’re from a different planet if you think the Android P actions are easier to follow. The hold to dismiss apps on iPhone (which is fixed in iOS 12) is stupid sure and I think the Android P app switcher is a better implementation with live actionable windows; but the Android P gestures are more complicated than the iOS gestures.
The simple fact that they mixed a gesture based system into a static button system is in itself completely unintuitive. iOS makes total sense. Done with the app, throw it off the screen - and the animations help to propagate that idea on a subconscious level. You swipe to throw it away, you swipe and slide across to get to the app switcher, you swipe from the left of the screen to go back.
Static Home buttons and back buttons in a system that is designed for gesture based interactions is confusing to the subconscious because of the inconsistency. The brain relies on habit and consistency to drive interaction. Mixing taps and gestures into a combined input model is naturally unintuitive.
Android offers a lot more functionality so its to be expected that it would be somewhat more complex but a lot of the new stuff is doubling down. For instance, I don’t get how the app scroll feature is different to the app switcher. Because you scroll along the bottom instead of scrolling through the windows a whole 1 inch higher up on the screen. Maybe a little useful but feel like they could have done better. That goes for iOS too. Feel they limited themselves by trying to keep it too simple.
I’ve used both, and in my opinion, apples implementation of gestures is way more superior.
ОтветитьKinda not a fair assessment, one is a finish product (iPhone) the other one is not (Pixel 2 XL)
ОтветитьBakugou?
