Did you know that the real reason this was never made into an onscreen official third sequel is because Harold and Bill had a huge falling out. When a new sequel script was being discussed, creative differences were so intense between the two that Ramis ended up throwing Murray against a wall. As a result, the two stopped speaking to each other for 20 years. Even in this game, Bill recorded his lines separately because he refused to be in the same room as Harold. They would only reconcile when Harold was on his deathbed. When being interviewed about the late Ghostbuster, Bill Murray was visibly shaken and sad. He undoubtedly regretted letting their friendship dissolve. RIP Harold- You Made Magic Happen ❤❤❤❤

I remember when I played as a kid

I think the Gozarian library was a nod to an unmade Ghostbusters film. In it Hell is a kind of a parallel reality to Earth, taking on a similar form where any problems or faults are magnified. So in Hell's version of New York, skyscrapers are thousands of feet tall and made of black obsidian, all the traffic is perpetually gridlocked and the cops are monsters.

It would be so cool if they made an open world, rpg Ghostbusters game where you run a new branch of Ghostbusters in a new city like LA or Chicago.
