Just got me some of these for my new M2 Macbook Pro USB-C to B. Always nice cables.
ОтветитьFor me unsung hero in my DJ gear is Pyle Hum Eliminator. Older buildings with sketchy electrical circuits or unbalanced connections to the house sound system can cause a hum. One time a new bar that installed a brand new JBL pro sound system only had a way to connect to it via a 50 meter / 100' ft RCA cable coming out of the wall. Hum city when connecting to it. That $15 Pyle unit saved me from a really long night of hum. And it wasn't just dance music, that event had a band and singers on top of a DJ. Basically, I got compliments all around even from the owner because they said that all DJ's that play there play with that hum all night. bottom line, crappy install job but a secret weapon that saved the night.
ОтветитьNew RCA cables are built great
ОтветитьUsing my Technics rp-dh1200 for such a long time now, almost 14 years, and only a year or two ago I had to replace shell pads. It still works great, and had survived many many gigs!
ОтветитьGreat review as always. Defo gonna be picking these up next time I’m doing some cable shopping. Would like to see some XLR and patch cables off them as well. Even some variation in USB length
As for the cheap but cheerful additions to my setup, I gotta say some scratch mats have been a lot of fun. Even tho I’m not using them currently, the novation dicers are a must for DVS djs. A good crossfader goes a long way as well. It’s the small things tho like just hanging up some old rave flyers or some lighting which really brings a booth together. Nd can’t forget some scratch records if your into that also :)
Have dozens of these between my studio, gig bags, etc. RCA, the different USB models, etc.. not a SINGLE one has ever failed me. These are a staple in every aspect of what I do in music. Thank you DJTT, keep on keeping on!
ОтветитьMy biggest complaint is that barrel plugs are just way way too long when you're trying to fit them into flight cases they're just going to get pinched and bent in ways they shouldn't be really need some right angle cables, I switched recently and never looked back...
ОтветитьWhoa, Mojaxx 1/2, looking great! Forget about DJ gear, share with us that working diet of yours 😁😁😁
ОтветитьI have used DJ Tech Tools cables for many years. All are excellent!!! High recommendation!!!
ОтветитьPlease review UDG cables 🖐🖐🖐
ОтветитьI've had USB connection issues my DJ gear that vanish when I use these cables, they are a must have for me.
ОтветитьThe thing I use the most in my bag….is my bag! I’ve used the S4 for 4 years and then moved to DDJ-SX2 for the last 8 years (solid piece of kit) but it’s always overlooked I think as a working DJ that you need a quality bag or case to transport with protection for your gear . Don’t know if anybody else has used ‘FUSION’ bags , but unfortunately they were discontinued. Such a shame as they were the best bag for all your gear and easy to carry. Anyone else use them ? Anyway +1 for the XLR’s . Use USB C to A and Phono and both are quality
ОтветитьYou look great Mo... congrats on the weight loss. I lost weight a few years back but have put it back on with COVID and some medications I have to take now. I gotta get back to walking and doing more cardio. Much love from SoCal USA!
ОтветитьLookin great Mojaxx!!!
ОтветитьI have a couple usbc-usbb cables, worth every penny
ОтветитьFor my main home setup I'd say the true unsung hero is my Baseus Hub/Dock. With my S11, Phase, XP2, and now LC6000 it allows me to connect everything I use while only using a single USB port on my M2 MacBook and still have ports left.
ОтветитьMojaxx mentions it but I would love to see XLR Chroma Cables. The entire chroma line is excellent.
ОтветитьCan you do a follow up video on the denon prime go and if it’s still a good piece of kit to buy in 2023?
ОтветитьHHMMM
ОтветитьA big shout must go out to my bendy usb powered light purchased from IKEA. Think it only cost me a fiver but it has come in very handy.
ОтветитьMy Gen 1 Crane Stand is still kickin’ and has never let me down.
ОтветитьMy $40 in-ear monitors from Amazon
ОтветитьI came here purely for the thumbnails 😆👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Edit: .....but, my greatest purchase I keep in my kit bag is a switchable multivoltage DC adapter.
Got it one time after I had an issue with the power cutting out on my DJ controller at a wedding in 2017 and thought it was the power supply (turned out to be the power connector on the controller in the end).
Since then I've needed it at a number of events and even rescued a wedding band who had forgotten the power adapter for what I think was either their mixing desk or pedal board. They couldn't have played without it 💪🏻
Not available yet at European retailers. And shipping is too high for only 1 or 2 cables
Ответить@mojaxx, there's a very important use for the usb c cable, and that is to connect the reloop stand hub! That stand is great but the hub drives a gigantic ammont of data as I use Cdjs in HID, controllers and power to the PC, and had the need to get a 10gb 100w cable, and now I can stick to the chroma cables for every thing. A great and needed addiction in my case :)
ОтветитьThanks for vid because of your last vid from Chroma I went out and got some cables they are as you said very, very good Thx for the tip.
ОтветитьMan, you've lost a lot of weight! Someone had to say it:)
ОтветитьThanks for the review @mojaxx ❤ we’d love to make XLR cables in the future. Well heard!
Ответитьi just picked up some amazon rca cables, but im very curious about these chroma cables. i dont see the amazon ones lasting 5 years thats for sure
ОтветитьThey need to make digital SPDIF cables
ОтветитьI have a 512 Gb Sandisk Extreme Pro flash drive and it was definitely the best thing I could ever buy. The only downsize is that players like the cdj 2000 nexus or the xdj 700 are a little slow on reading and letting the drive off safely because of the size.
ОтветитьI wonder if the USB-C to C cables can carry Thunderbolt 3.
ОтветитьMy Reloop Stand Hub continues to surprise me after 2+ years. I can run a battery-powered setup, I can use it in a booth, I can use it with other equipment like my RC-505, and most recently I ran live sound for an event where I had to run my laptop's headphone jack into a 48-channel board, but they didn't leave me enough room on the desk for my laptop, so my Stand Hub came to the rescue once again!
I hated stands for YEARS and used my mixer case instead, but Reloop has converted me.
Great video
Thank you
Happy new year
There’s no such thing as interference with the USB cables as the signal is digital. You could make a usb cable out of wire coat hangers and the audio would sound identical.
ОтветитьCorsair Flash Voyager GTX 256GB USB 3.1 Premium Flash Drive - only usb drive i use. Extremely fast transfer rates, made of metal, take a massive beating. Never had an issue with them at all.
ОтветитьI wish the USB ones was LED
ОтветитьShhhh gremlins 2 the new batch. I see you mo
Ответитьone of the thumbnails of all time
