I think they're really strong cavalry it's just having fewer of them with proper banners and what not will do them more justice I can see great stag knights being able to get 300-500 kills this way with little harm done to them because other units is tying down the enemy.
You have to remember with melee units the models have to touch to deal damage it's micro intensive but they have good speed even then though I'll only field like 2 of them.

what if i gave you an empire knights doomstack?
or a lumiarch doomstack?

Maybe if you keep some stag knights in reserve hidden somewhere, I don't think sending them all in together really helps, just a lot of targets for spears. I'd maybe let the fast units chase a few knights around and lead them into the woods to ambush them

If you’re going to make a weird cavalry doom stack at least do empire demigryph knights, because then he can’t say you should have gone with tree men

Anyone remember his video where his reinforcements was only a wizard and he called the wizard the MVP for allowing him to turn off control large army? I don't remember the name so I can't find it.

Dwellers Below is the most potent AoE dmg spell because it its large radius and stationary with high damage over time. Other vortexes such as Flamestorm may be stronger, but it moves around and may miss many enemies. Lore of Life is OP.

Time for a Peasant Bowman doomstack! Only it is actually a doom STACK, it is 6 full armies of Peasant Bowman sitting on top of each other.

Edit: A six??? It's terrible. It has zero strengths. Stags are the least cost effective unit on the WE roster.

I kind of hate how cav is completely useless in WH. I can't remember the last time I recruited a cav unit that wasn't a RoR or Outriders.

Legend I’ve run into some trouble with my Bloated Corpse doomstack when I tried to take out the entire chaos invasion in one turn like you did. I will have to send you it but could you please not get any units killed as I can’t afford more bloated corpses

Doomstacks shouldn't be so micro intensive. The more lazy they allow you to be the better!

Legend, I was curious, in Medieval II on hardest difficulty is it normal to end up at war with 7 factions simultaneously? Or did I screw up diplomacy big time? I am trying to make alliances with people, then try to maintain relationship with them at good or higher, but they constantly betray me for apparently no reason. Even factions that technically shouldn't even look at my territories as a potential grab are attacking me.

I thought the point of rate my doomstack was to use the doomstack in a user friendly way (eg. charge right at the enemy)? Every other doomstack you've used like that but this one you've treated more as a disaster battle?

Cavalry just sucks in this game. I never use them

Lots of Wood Elf doomstacks being evaluated lately lol. Looking forward to the Zoat stack video thats sure to come.

Though I disagree with Legend thinking that Treemen is the doomstack. I think the Treestack is situationally better but the Air Force Doom stack is by far more user friendly and less grindy. You focus down enemy missile/flying first then spend the rest of the match shooting optimal targets overhead until you win the BoP.

Of course I can't remember off the top of my head if Hawk Riders get the volleys in other factions or if that is a Sisters exclusive. Hawk Riders with out volleys are signifigantly worse but they're still viable. If you're playing Durthu's faction where you can give Treemen even more physical and missile resist then they outclass the airforce plus Durthu himself reduces upkeep for them.

@Legend with all due respect, I think the point of that doomstack was to make a massive charge, use the horn for charge bonus to win the trade, desengage with life magic and repeat all over again. Blitz kind of gameplay. Felt you went full chalk here, cheesemaster ! Love you.
