He was simply laughing, Dr. Phill escorting him off is entirely uncalled for. Such a sensitive society, men can't even express themselves without being punished for it. Goes both ways.

I begin to feel his emotions being he was losing someone he wanted to love and honor. And somewhere down the line, it will take a stronger woman that can pick him back up and put him back on his feet. Unfortunately, no other woman (besides my mother) has put me on my feet yet - not once in my lifetime. And it won't be long until I turn 41. I already know what the next 41 years of my life is gonna be - the same as it's always been - permanently cursed. No girlfriend, no wifey...

A job damn well done Doc. I legit feel sorry for Charles. Although he did abuse Sally, he was open with his mistakes & he truly wanted to try to change himself for the better, which I can absolutely respect.
