I have a question. I run a private police and security company. Well I cannot discriminate in hiring and transfers and such, what about the client? Let's say I'm doing security for a mosque and their religion prohibits females from being in the sanctuary with men, but the security duties require the officer to be in the sanctuary, would I get in trouble for refusing to hire a female officer to work that contract?

Mind you, I'm all for giving newer people a chance, I welcome it in fact. Let these newer people have a chance to not only work but work with and learn from the more experienced people rather than punishing your best and or most experienced workers over something they can't change, aka the color of their fucking skin!

ОтветитьHow far back can we go? Problem with me, is that it happened 15 years ago. But my boss told me straight up that she didn't like me because my "Kind" thinks we are Europeans. She didn't know that I was half Hispanic either. I never thought I was European, she just didn't like that I was a very positive, outgoing male, that looked white. She was Mexican by the way. Everyone should be able to open up Class Action cases against former employers going back to the early 90s, which is when this started. People should also open up Class Action cases against Colleges and any School and Teacher that has done this too. Also starting from the early 90s. This has also happened in high school and college sports, since ar least the 70s.

What DEI is: Only hire racial/identity minorities, actively ignore people who do not fall into that category regardless of skills, only depict minorities in art, even when it makes no sense (eg hiring a bunch of minority tran-men to play all the roles in a movie about a 17th century swedish girls school)

It's positive discrimination that through exclusion negatively affects people who don't fit the DEI agenda.
If you selectively promote a race, gender, sexual orientation by race, gender, sexual orientation alone, you by that action alone demote another race, gender or sexual orientation and therefore there is no equity only discrimination. It's common-sense really.
Every act of discrimination has a positive and negative, a binary outcome and since every decision is discriminatory you have to show balance in how that decision was made. If you make it purely upon an exclusionary or priority based system you are displaying systemic discriminatory bias.
This could have a big impact on the Gina Carano lawsuit for Disney...

English has Latin, Greek, German, African and a diverse collection of words from many nation's. Equality is reflect in rules for sports. You expect equality in pay. ОтветитьThere was a studio out in LA that was a for-profit studio that (no joke) publicly stated the whole purpose of their studio was to hire people of minority demographics (basically anything not straight white) train them, and then work as a pipeline to get them into big studios... But this wasn't a reading in between the lines, it was literally on the front page of their website and they proudly proclaimed it on all of their posts.
Then, all of their job applications stated they were looking for POC or LGBTQIA+, and if you applied the questions on the application asked how your race or identity played a role in your work and could contribute to your work.
Again, none of this was hidden. It was blatantly out in the open that the entire intent of their studio was to not hire straight white men so that more non-white people could be worked into other bigger studios. I'm really hoping the lawsuits start putting these studios in their place because they can be blatantly racist at this point and no one does anything.
The content of the video was great. The narration of this video is atrocious. Get somebody else to narrate these videos please please please!
