yea. i watched that way back wen it came out. i thot that car wuz haulin ass goin 283 trap at 1 mile. but think of y they didnt giv the actual footage of the run. it wuz a 1.5 mile speed run. that car makes 1700rwhp. i dont think it would be so much faster than the 2000+rwhp heffner ford gt that went 266 in standing mile. they actualy have footage of the run.

they have it listed in Guiness, and you know how anal they are about logging in a new entry. plus to get the entry, they would have had to run it twice, and they give you credit for the slowest. they also would have frowned on the actual distance being more than a mile if it was....also, hp is a rating of power, a train has more horses than anything here, speed is a function of setup...just because one has more horses, means nothing.

the heffner car wuz only 50-100kg heavier. their tranny setups and final drive setups r boss 4 their dedicated events. and the heffner car makes 300 more rwhp than the PPR car. i dont think a 17mph speed difference would be possible since the Heffner car wuz top notch itself. other than that, idk if its a legit record until i see the run and time of the run itself. maybe it wuz jus a driver mod. idk. but both cars have killer setups. so power DOES make the diff. here
