How considerate and respectful of you-to bring an Indian Chef to your channel to showcase this popular “Indian” dish. A lot more chefs should take this approach.

ОтветитьI tried this recipe. I did pimp it just a little buy crushing the cardamom pods, and put in two staranise broken up. Took me straight back to little India in Singapore, and the best butter I've ever had. Top job

Last time I tried a more “healthy” version by substituting heavy cream with a handful of raw cashew made into paste and my husband couldn’t tell the differences! Major hit!! Must try!

Well I will say that this is FAR SUPERIOR to his weird ass Mango Chutney Butter Chicken.

ОтветитьStandard Store cuboard ingredients for most Indians nice….my twist burn a piece of coal drop some ghee over it in a separate small pan the drip in the curry cover it and let the smoke do it’s magic then remove the pan after 5-10 mins..

ОтветитьSo I wanted to try this recipe for a long time. I couldn't find Kashmirri chilli so I used a regular one. The dish turned out to be too hot, it was difficult to eat. But aside from that the butter sauce looked like in the video. It certainly had an interesting taste (from what I could feel through the hotness).
ОтветитьOriginal butter chicken doesn’t use that much cream actually. The creaminess comes from butter and cashew nuts. The color comes from tomatoes mostly. Of course people can make it any way they want but this isn’t an authentic butter chicken from India that Indian chefs make. It’s westernized version of very heavy cream rich butter chicken.

ОтветитьHey Jamie, please note this NOT authentic version of butter chicken. Butter chicken originated in Delhi- Called Dilli wala Butter chicken (from Delhi). Sorry This is no where even close, twisted version of butter chicken
