BEST Ranged Weapon Enchants + Guide! | RLCraft 2.9.3

This video covers everything you need to know about maxing out your bow and crossbow! I go over the main ranged weapons in the game, longbow and sentient greatbow, and the ice and fire crossbow. These are the best ranged options you have in the game, more so the longbow. Thus, you'll have the best bow and/or best crossbow in RLCraft.

I also demonstrate the 1-2-4-8 method to apply the enchantments correctly on each weapon. There's not TOO many enchantments so you should be able to acquire a beefy bow relatively soon!


Notes/Tips:

-Make sure you use either an ICE or FIRE longbow/crossbow. They're the best in the game and upgrading a dragon bone weapon to an ice or fire version increases the durability. It doesn't make you arrows shoot ice or fire, just a durability upgrade. However, if you enchant a base dragon bone weapon and want to upgrade to ice/fire later, you will lose all your enchants! So make sure to upgrade first before enchanting.

-Max out your L menu for best results!

-Crossbow is optional, it's no where near as useful/versatile as the longbow but it does get the job done with dragons. It can also be used as a backup weapon if a parasite already adapted to your weapons. Other than that, you can get away without it.

-Remember to reforge to LEGENDARY for a true maxed out bow!

-Infinity doesn't require an arrow in your inventory :)

-You can use either multishot or splitshot for your bow but overall, multishot has a better pattern.

-Unbreaking III tome wouldn't be a bad choice since bows don't recover durability as fast and effective as melee weapons. If you have spare tomes, go for it!

-You NEED advanced mending for any bow using infinity. Infinity doesn't combine with normal mending. However, you can use either version of mending with the greatbow since it doesn't have infinity.

-The greatbow NEEDS Strafe IV due to its slow draw speed. As a result, you can't use infinity since it doesn't combine with Strafe. You'll have to use a heavy quiver and have it in your hot bar to supply yourself with arrows. A good thing about this is you can deck yourself out with any type of arrow you want.

-Personal opinion: Greatbow isn't really worth grinding for since the overall DPS between it and the longbow are similar. You might also find yourself in situations where spamming with the longbow is a better choice.
