EPIC video. Man, I would have LOVED to be sitting with the crowd watching them fly in. Ridiculously close to the planes and the runway. Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьAwesome. Took me back to being a kid again. Air shows today just don’t have this vibe any more! Too many people, too many police, too few memories!
ОтветитьWhat a great video!
ОтветитьAwesome compilation of Warbirds of the 90s
ОтветитьAS someone who coordinated air shows for 18 of my 20 years in Naval aviation, this was a great mix of different aircraft from all over the world
Ответитьwho else humming the Top Gun music , with those F-14s?
ОтветитьThere's three good reasons not to hang out your washing if there are Phantoms in circuit!
ОтветитьHOLY SHIT
ОтветитьI remember this, I was on 707 squadron
Ответить5.37 et plus le mirage 2000 et le "rafale " y a pas a ' chier' ce sont de bonne aeroplane in '' french''
ОтветитьI was 13 in 1987 at a weekend campout (Boy Scouts) at Wright Patterson AFB. We were probably only 3 football fields away from the runway and would go to the end and stand there watching aircraft for hours. We saw F-4s, f-15s, F-14s, and Harriers all weekend. The F-14s and Harriers were the loudest. You couldn’t hear them when we went to the end of the runway and stood under them, you felt the sound. That’s how loud those two were. And yes I remember the heat from the Harriers well!
ОтветитьF-14 Tomcats...when fighters screamed and growled, and fighter pilots were men.
ОтветитьThe Airshows in the 1980s and 1990s will never be beat - you could see so many different types all flying
ОтветитьIf you hadn't put this up I would have said that this mix of aircraft never graced the same runway at the same time! Truly moving to anyone with even a hint of being an aviation buff.
ОтветитьAmazing to think that's nearly 30 years ago! I doubt we will ever see that volume of aircraft at Yeovilton again.
ОтветитьI was stationed RAF Lakenheath on the brand new F15e’s in 1994. I remember launching and recovering for flyovers on both sides of the channel.
ОтветитьAny vid of the departures from the morning? As they departed some overflew VL in superb formations.
ОтветитьWhat a show !!
ОтветитьThank you. Brings back a lot of memories. I was there that day, 846NAS. Busy day martialing aircraft. Shame there wasn’t a junglie in sight
ОтветитьA look at that base with all its guests would be an amazing view.
Ответитьno lie, these are amazing landings. Esp the Tomcats. Thank you
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьLONG LIVE PHANTOM***
ОтветитьWait! The Russians weren't there on D-Day! Why are there Sukhoi aircraft in the show?!
ОтветитьNice catch.
ОтветитьI couldn’t imagine this...I’d pass out.
ОтветитьJune 1994. I drove like a nut job after the last aircraft recovered at Yeovilton. To RAF Brize Norton to get a Photo of Air force One leaving that same afternoon. Happy Days...
ОтветитьUSA...USA...USA...USA. !!!!
ОтветитьAbsolutely fantastic video, so many special types. The F-4s were awesome, and then the F-14s showed up lol. Thank you
ОтветитьAnd the award for the smokiest, greasiest, gnarliest arrival goes to....the F4 Phantom! applause
ОтветитьGreat video , amazing variety of planes. Thank you...
ОтветитьCold war fighter jets from the B.S. era; Before Stealth...no F-15s?
ОтветитьCrikey, those Phantoms look like they are running on coal!
ОтветитьGreat video! Thx! 😊
ОтветитьAn F-18 with D-Day markings. Cool.
ОтветитьI like the F111 landing.....thud! Not at all delicate.
ОтветитьThere are Czech Airforce's Migs and Suchoys. Great planes.
ОтветитьSo you saw the very low Slovak MiG29 and you thought “I need to get my hair shaved off” and then stood directly under the final approach path?
ОтветитьWouldn't that be a fantastic Airshow!!
ОтветитьAmazing footage! Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьFantastic! You lucky bugger
ОтветитьI can't help watching these over and over. Crazy how low some of those were
ОтветитьMost of those pilots are thinking: "Why is this runway so long? Why isn't it pitching & rolling?"
ОтветитьDamn that was awesome
ОтветитьLiked the film strip. Brought back memories of the days when I wanted to fly and the US-Navy turned me down.
ОтветитьThose American pilots sure know how to make a good hard landing!
ОтветитьTomcat Supreme!
ОтветитьThis was when air shows WERE air shows.....
ОтветитьAll the different types, and a minimum of 4 planes per type. Man those were the days. You dont see them like this anymore. Spotting is slowly dying 😢
Ответить1 of the best aviation videos ever
