Cubase Tutorial - Tech Tip 12 - Cubase 5 Variaudio (auto tune)

Hi, just found this video. I ' still using Cubase 5.. Any idea how to get some notes that are missing after oitch and warp analyze, to show up so as to be able to move them?

Also, do you know if there is a master tune in Cubase, if tuning vocals to a song recorded in 432Hz?

Hello mate i am using the lexicon alpha audio interface with cubsse 5...i con only record vocals in stereo and it doesnt sound professional....do u ave any tips than could help me. I thinl its my connections but im not sure wot to do.

can people post relevant comments.. LIKE: Make sure you avoid "S" or dead tone consonants.. they have no tone so VARIOUDIO or Melodyne can't tune these right and they end up sounding terrible.. MELODYNE AND VARI AUDIO sound the same.. same artifacts.... Problems with the "S" sometimes Variaudio ignores them but I manually bypass those that made it thru.. NOW THATS a relevant comment...!! But I don't need Melodyne anymore... ;-)

This is a very helpful tutorial! But is there a way to connect that function to a midi file? I don't have a midi keyboard right now, but i already have the midi file with the rights notes.

i do nog have this option in cubase... the pitch and warp option... i have essentials... is that the problem? or do i have to click somewhere to activate it?

@Sixalienasa An artifact is that digitization effect u hear when u alter the audio waves. It basically makes it sound fake but if done subtly enough or with disregard u get the "T-Pain effect".
