kinda dumb when they keep the quicktime format as the default render setting but the default quicktime player can't even play it

when it’s rendered and saved, it just saves as an audio??

Had the same problem with exporting to quick time. “this file contains some media which isn’t compatible with QuickTime player” I did export also as the apple 444 with rgb and alpha and that worked. But I'm still curious as to why the QuickTime/animation setting didn't work. Thanks in advance. G.

All I get is sound. Is it because I'm not using an Apple product? I'm on a Surface Book.

I didn't wanted to download the Media Encoder, and tried to export an animation using the AE itself. 5 sec animation - 360MB!!!!!!.......HOW IS THAT EVEN LEGAL??!!
Then I finally downloaded the ME and using that, I could encode it in mortal sizes......

hiii so i’ve just made an edit and it went in fine to media encoder the first time but then my computer turned off so i had to restart but when i tried rendering it again it wouldn’t pop up in the queue. I’ve reset my laptop and everything and i’m now re installing media encoder. Do you know what’s happened?

After like 40-50 secs of render it says failed i used aftercodecs and i am saving it as an mp4 file. Like when i export it the video freezes but i can still hear the audio, Pls help

Watching this in 2021, and I can't believe that STUPID year was last year.

The problem is; Adobe Media Encoder is a lot quicker for rendering. On the other hand, Render Queue has more export options, like "skip existing frames" for image sequences which is very helpfull.. Why the dont migrate this options to Media Encoder?

I do everything and it's all good but when I open the video after finishing everything it lags so much :(
