ОтветитьThis works great except that the AI runs in a very small area. I have a large city I needed them to run in, but they basically run in a circle across the street and back. Any help expanding on this would be greatly appreciated.

ОтветитьYeah this is really frustrating. The animation is not playing. It's just the idle animation as it slides around.

Thanks, that what i was looking for, really like your channel.. and I really prefer short tutorial videos ..
however as a long time programmer there is a mistake with the delay.. character will never wait 1 to 5 seconds in one location.. as the coding for this has to be adjusted.. I recommend a "Branch" node just after the "event tick" to check if isMoving is true or false and only with False start the delay .. other wise the delay is always starting immedeatly.. as you can see at the end of the video, the character almost never waits, because the delay is almost always over
But than you have to check, when character has reached its "destination" to set isMoving to false
nooo not like that, not on tick. Set this on begin play with a end loop back to the start of the delay node

ОтветитьHey this worked great except for the fact that my AI will not rotate when it moves. What I mean by this is, it plays the animation, but does not turn to the direction it is moving. Can you help with this?
