Nice shirt fella! Great band🤘🏾
Ответитьthank you for your videos!
ОтветитьSlamdunk video
ОтветитьYou could use recolor for bucket tool in procreate.
To change the action buttons, tap and hold with the pencil on any button. A whole list of actions will appear, in alphabetical order. Scroll to find the Recolor action, and select it.
I've been a Procreate fan for years but after watching your videos on Fresco, I'm definitely going to attempt a switch...the compatibility with other Adobe apps sounds like a game changer. Your videos have been super helpful...thank you!
ОтветитьGreat video… thanks Chris! Switching for sure.
ОтветитьHaven't even watched the video yet, but dope IDLES shirt!
ОтветитьThe way you explain things is really great, it would be awesome if adobe could sponsor you! Thanks for all of the video you do!
Ответитьprocreate does have a paint bucket tool. in the select tool. enable fill when selecting areas.
Ответитьaffinty designer is good for vector drawings and i can open the files in ai on windows
ОтветитьThank you for this video, Chris! It was very helpful! I did not know the differences in these apps! And you helped me decide to check out Fresco because I use Photoshop and I like the way they these apps can work together! (I do not create on my ipad, because I have one of the first ones and it will not even update anymore! Not sure I want to invest in a new one).
ОтветитьI like calling it “way com”
ОтветитьIn addition to the great comparison, your reference to The Toy was an amazing gem. 🤣
ОтветитьProcreate > Fresco
ОтветитьProcreate has reference layers atp… and u can keep auto fill on now too… the ever changing world of graphic art
ОтветитьProcreate also does the reference feature! Having line work in a different layer but as reference and filling in color in different layers 🥹
ОтветитьJust wanted to say glad i found u
ОтветитьGreat video, I had a similar issue with my iPad. I am not a prolific user of procreate, but weirdly I am a prolific purchaser of brushes. Stupidly, I assumed that my brushes would automatically be saved, or transferred from my old app to the new one, but for some reason it did not. Luckily, I do meticulously save my brushes in a cloud system, but to have to import them individually is a royal pain. Also, I really wish procreate had an in app filing system for brushes.
ОтветитьYou have got me to switch to Fresco. Thank you for this awesome video.
ОтветитьProcreate does have the ability to fill color. You can drag and drop then it allows you to “ continue filling “ and select other shapes. What I love about Procreate is the price. I paid $10 for Procreate and $20 for Procreate Dreams, all updates are free. Fresco is a subscription based app costing $9.99 a month. Oh, you can also convert your line art into a reference layer and color fill under it. I’m no professional, I just love art and watching artsist create. For me, Procreate has been amazing and drawing in it is my soul therapy. ❤
ОтветитьP.S. I love your art. ❤
ОтветитьI use procreate and I think I need to switch to Fresco now 😂 layer limit is boo, I want more animation, and vector. Paint bucket.
ОтветитьI was going to switch but after seeing a thousand million subscriptions, I looked away. This is great if you're a professional but Procreate is perfect for most illustrators and you only pay one time for life and it includes lifetime upgrades. Meantime, Fresco is subscriptions and the layout is more steps than Procreate. It's like Android versus iPhone. If you enjoy super customization, you'll love Fresco but Procreate can create its brushes and has added perks I didn't see on Fresco like the "Reference" to view your image on the canvas and other neat stuff.
Fresco is great if you enjoy doing a million steps to get the same result you can do in Procreate in two moves. ✌🏼️ Dos!
As of 7 Feb 2024 I came across Chris video during a search to find out what drawing software to use as currently doing Digital Imaging and Graphics as a university elective subject. So far finding this video very good for me to gather history and choose what platform to use to create vector images for my project. Chris is easily understood and I have taken note of his updated comment, which is good to see as often material is not updated, hence why I started my search as other notes directed me to Adobe Draw. Thank you for taking the time to inform others, it is most helpful.
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure it's pronounced "WAH-com"
ОтветитьYes we want a giant flock of birds lol
ОтветитьNice tshirt love the band
ОтветитьThat was a really useful video I’d say….. definitely thumbs up from me. Thank you!
ОтветитьI have that idles shirt too, and love that band dearly!
ОтветитьSo far I LOVE Procreate, and the price aspect in this comparison was the dealbreaker for me, I can pay the money but won´t do it on moral principles, I DON´T like to rent my software, I like to OWN it, same reason why I don´t have Photoshop, nevertheless an EXCELLENT video which helped me a lot thanks! (Will certainly try the free version out of curiosity).
ОтветитьThis was useful info because I did not want to buy an i-pad, and think I can now try animation. Thank you.
ОтветитьI literally do that every time I have to say Wacom. It’s become nervous tick at this point 😂
ОтветитьThanks. Good review. I used to paint digitally all the way back to C64. With Procreate I missed not being able to work on the PC in the same format. Also the layers are not so great vs PS. Fresco sounds interesting. It is the first time I see a good use for Adobe Cloud. Also fun that borh programs deal more with hand animation.
ОтветитьWhy didn’t you use illustrator for vector work?
Also, what do you use illustrator for?
Can you make a video or link one where you talk about your file management systems
ОтветитьIs Fresco basically a new version of Flash?
ОтветитьIs fresco available for desktop?
ОтветитьWell well well…
ОтветитьSho did.!
Ответитьthanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI find it. I’m using that you are saying how these brushes are using are all you really need but now you are selling your own brushes
ОтветитьJust getting started with creating on an iPad. This video was so helpful! Thanks!
ОтветитьSmash the living heck… you gotta emphasize it like that on every video…
ОтветитьThank you so much for this recommendation. I have been trying to figure out which program would work best for my workflow, and considering how much I use Photoshop to refine drawings, I'm definitely giving Fresco a try!
ОтветитьI really like the fact that the vector art can be done in Fresco.
