its not a suprise, there is a market for patched vulnerabilities, because even if the vulnerability is known, large companies are really slow to update there software...if you can take a known bug and make something useful, you can sell it

Been both targeted (somewhat unsuccessfully) and tracking (successfully) this group for far longer than they know. In June I finally broke the trojan they pushed to one of my devices and studied the artifacts + added the pertinent ones to vt database. Hence why they attacked vt soon after (implied, but i'm very certain)
