You're point that the short keywords is in the long one seams like such a critical point. This is a subtlety that connected the dots for me, Priceless clarity thank you.
ОтветитьI've watched a bunch of your videos, good stuff.
I watched the "Complete Etsy SEO webinar" just before this. Perhaps it's because your voice was echoing in my head from that listen - but I found this video your best explanation of keywords, titles, and tags. You have the sanest view of Esty that I've come across.
Thanks.
Thanks! Very helpful.
ОтветитьThank you so much. Great explanation
ОтветитьThank you very much. This was so helpful :)
ОтветитьAnother excellent video…I’m so enjoying watching your content. Your straight forward language and explaining things is great - no fluffing about it honestly feels like your just having a general conversation with someone. I’m slowly going through your videos & have learnt heaps so far & also the things you say have actually validated what I’ve been doing on my own without guidance so happy to know I’ve been on the right track - look forward to learning more 🤗
ОтветитьYou'll probably never see this, but you are the most helpful person on this planet with it comes to Etsy! You are so knowledgeable and easy to understand. I love your straight forward videos of exactly what I need. Thank you!!
ОтветитьSo basically in your tags you should start with one short tail keyword and expand upon it? Also, if you use the same keyword for different listings won't they be competing against each other?
ОтветитьI keep coming back to your page because you tell it like it is. Your channel helped me to launch my Etsy store and become a star seller after 3 months of the launch.
Thanks.
Thank you for demystifying this subject for me. Excellent video and much appreciated!
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!
ОтветитьHi Kara, that page you were on analytical ? how do I find that? Thanks, love your videos💕
ОтветитьDear Kara I tried to join your Facebook group and I have been declined the reason was I didn’t answer the 3 questions so I did it again and got the same I don’t know what am I doing wrong
ОтветитьThis was so helpful!! Thank you! I love your channel 😊
Ответитьlet's say you write in your tags (wafer paper) (with pink roses), would you then do another tag like (transparent wafer paper) or would you not repeat "wafer paper" ever again? ahhhh so many rules - you mentioned the research is much less complicated than people make it seem, but then pulled out a 75-word spreadsheet that was semi verified by SEO tools😅❤️
and if you have more time, I'm in the clothing niche. Example: (women's mountain) (shirt with stars) (boho moon and sun) (celestial shirt) (for her best friend), am I supposed to not repeat the word shirt or include it at all since it would be in the shirt category?
Thank you Kara for all you do! I’ve been watching and listening since your episode on marmalead about big butts! I look forward to your Tuesday lives every week about Etsy and all your years of knowledge you share.
ОтветитьSuper helpful video. I am still struggling to get my head around SEO, it hasn't quite clicked yet, but this video has helped my understanding greatly. In fact, all your videos are helping. My sales come through things other than Etsy search, so my SEO must be rubbish 😂 Just to clarify in my head, apologies for dimness, do we come up with long tail keywords and then just split them up to fit in the tags? Also, you mentioned 'send a little traffic yourself', how do we do that? I really do apologise if this is a dumb question! 😶 I'm going to make a Kara Buntin SEO video playlist and watch them all again til it clicks! 🤓😨🤕 I have the keyword tracker but not used it yet .... I think the time is now 😁
ОтветитьSo could short tail keywords lead to a lot of visits and fewer sales? Because if that’s the case then maybe my listings need more long tail words.
ОтветитьThanks, this is super helpful and honestly a relief. Sometimes I feel like I'm pressured to NOT use my brain in these keyword decisions, lol.
Do you have any advice for how to maintain long-tail keyword results when you sell one-of-a-kind pieces?
Hello, a customer purchased an item and I already by etsy shipping. But she asked for the order to be cancelled. I cancelled. (does etsy refund the shipping I paid or give me credit for it? Thank you.
ОтветитьWhere do I find the Search Analytics Beta?
ОтветитьI think this is your best video yet!!!!! You keep getting better like a fine wine!
ОтветитьI was never good at SEO. Everything sounds so foreign to me. Tags, keywords, long tail short tail. I am ready to pull out my hair. Maybe selling online is something I shouldn't be doing. I enjoy your videos, but every time I think I have it figured out, Marmalead messes me up.
ОтветитьVey helpful content.Too bad Etsy does not accept my country occupation. I would have used this info on my shop.
ОтветитьOkay Etsy Gang, I have looked all over. Why I can't place my update on the top side of my Etsy page rather than the bottom Page. Someone, please help! Thank you!!!
Ответитьlong-tail keywords don't always fit in one tag box so I stretch them out into 2 tag boxes. Is this ok?
ОтветитьHow long does it usually take before I start noticing any traffic changes? I am patient, just curious.
ОтветитьI like this video a lot. Thank you thank you. I use Marmalead but all of the long tail keywords that best describe my listings have good search, lie competition but the engagement is always red and registers at on a number of 25 so I have been hesitant to use these terms because the engagement is just so low.
ОтветитьI was getting dizzy with all the cuts zooming in and out, on and on.
ОтветитьThanks, Kara. Always great information. xo
ОтветитьAnother great video tutorial. I thought I knew enough about long tail keywords, but then you mentioned something and I did a head slap.
ОтветитьThank you SO much! Such a helpful video. I am determined to get this SEO done right.
ОтветитьThank you for this video! Omg, finally makes sense to me.
ОтветитьOmg. So helpful. Thank you!!
ОтветитьI would like to be found for "mens wool kippah" or "mens wool kippot". Am I figuring it right that 'wool kippah' or 'mens kippah', et al, get my listings found, as well as the longer phrasing? And that all I need are the longer phrases in my tags, Etsy pulls them apart to get the shorter phrases.
With a lack of descriptive words (other than color, fiber content, size or gender), I feel stuck.
If I'm doing this right...am I on the right track?
I know the niche is fairly tiny (thank the Maker, I hated making jewelry in school, lol!).
Thank you for the video! What do we do when the long tail keyword is longer than the 20 characters Etsy allow in the tags section?
ОтветитьHi Kara…Do you offer individual consulting services?
ОтветитьVery interesting, I like how you use anchor keywords and break them down from there. I guess I’m not breaking down my anchor keywords enough and instead putting my listings under high competition keywords even though I try to be specific. Thank you for sharing this I always learn something from you!
ОтветитьExcellent! Your approach on SEO was so clear. Invaluable! Thank you.
ОтветитьI’m not sure that I 100% understand and “get it” but after finding your channel and group, and implementing the strategies to the best of my understanding, I have seen REAL improvement in my shop. Thanks for all you do!
ОтветитьVery helpful video.Thank you.🙏
ОтветитьWhen you say “other things come into play” in regards to ranks, is that seller stats?
ОтветитьGreat video, now I am starting to understand what I need to do. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьHow did you get these 75 keywords? Did you analyze 30 pages of Etsy, listing after listing? 😱 Btw, I've been binging your videos for the last week ans have joined the fb group! 🤩
ОтветитьThanks so much. This video is really helpful.
ОтветитьHelpful video! Loving your channel! I just requested entry to your FB page and I’m looking forward to learning more from you.
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьVenturing into selling on Etsy shortly with my wife, I must say, this video was extremely insightful, informative and helpful. Watched/Listened to it with my wife. Thanks for sharing! — Howie
