Don't buy micro brands until you've held one in person. I learned the hard way amd threw away 500
ОтветитьI like that you avoided Baltic watches. I had one for two years and it was incapable of keeping time. Had to send it back to them 3 times and it just never worked. They wouldn’t replace it either. Just got sick of sending it back and to be honest I don’t even know where it is now. Wish I went with one of these other recommendations.
ОтветитьHey Teddy, love your videos, just wondering if you know anything about Norqain?
I know they a relatively new company, but their watches look very interesting. Wanted to know about build quality if you had spare time.
Teddy. Could you do a video on YEMA URBAN TRAVELER
ОтветитьJust discovered Yema - thinking of buying one!
Thank you!
Hi Teddy, if you haven’t I’d suggest that you take a look at the new Serica 5303-3 Cosc, the brand truly fixed everything to come up with a product that ticks a lot of boxes for the price
ОтветитьThat Serica is sick
ОтветитьHi Teddy! Italian fan here. Little insight: autòdromo [with the accent on the first o rather than the second] means "racetrack" so it's quite appropriate, as the Vallelunga Racetrack is one of the most well-known Italian tracks for motorsport racing. Hidden feature: the "group b" font on the watch is the same font used on the Peugeot 205 T16 Rally Car to indicate the model on the back of the car. That was one of the iconic model for the category. I'm trying to watch [pun intended] all your past videos starting from the roots and they're really good as well: now you're top notch! [P.s. my first self bought watch was a Weekender, is that familiar?] Cheers from Italy!
ОтветитьAIGI ... definitely a banger microbrand
ОтветитьWhy so many dive-style watches? Is there an actual scuba diver on the planet who wears these while diving? So much posing.
ОтветитьVario 1918 trench looks the best pocket watch ever.
ОтветитьTeddy please review Vario 1918 trench watch. It looks super amazing vintage.
ОтветитьCan i ask something to you? Is Laco part of microbrand? Because, this brand is anti mainstream and it has long history. And sturmanskie too?
ОтветитьSaw a Yema and just stop paying attention all together. 🗑🗑🚮🚮
ОтветитьI’m a huge fan of the channel and a big Yema fan (own 4 of their pieces with a Wristmaster Micro-Rotor on the way) and glad to see the brand get featured. By what is commonly accepted as a microbrand definition nowadays, however, it’s not a microbrand. It’s owned by a conglomerate (Montres Ambre). Love the inclusion of Serica and Monta, both are exceptional Micros. Would love to see Traska, Formex, and Second Hour in a video as well.
ОтветитьBought a vortic, the chicago model. I highly recommend. It is so cool and worth the price. A piece of history on your wrist.
ОтветитьI would definitely say Aragon needs some attention…they only make larger sized watches from 42-50mm but the specs you get for what they charge is unbeatable 🔥
ОтветитьHeimdallr and steeldive
ОтветитьYeah, have three Yema’s. My navygraph crown fell off winding stem. Sent it to Yema from California to France. Perfectly repaired watch returned a few days later. Myndiver is flawless. Love it. Finally, The limited addition 41mm bronze diver with blue dial has never been worn. The lug to lug is kind of large. I should have ordered the 39. Every time I look at it I think darn it’s so big.
ОтветитьI nearly pulled the trigger on a Serica but subsequently found they have issues with their movements that they are not resolving through QC.
ОтветитьThat Vortic Lancaster is like resurrecting a 64.5 Mustang vs just buying the new Ferrari. So fn cool!
ОтветитьAny recommendations for a watch purchase for my upcoming trip to Italy?? Thanks Teddy!!!
ОтветитьAny chance you can make a video on Chinese brands? San Martin, Pagani Design ECT.
ОтветитьYou probably should also start your own microbrand. You have a lot of experience with watches and a great subscriber base. What design language would you choose for your watches I wonder :)
ОтветитьHi Teddy, I love all your videos! I just ordered a Ikonik Ocean Diver Blackstone watch and I'm very excited! I'd love to know your thoughts on the brand. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьTeddy the Italian in you should be ashamed calling that a speedometer dial, it is a revcounter dial with a red line on it, any car guy, especially an Italian car guy would know😂
ОтветитьNeed to tell me if it is a ceramic bezel or not, because that is a deal breaker for me okay
ОтветитьSerica hands down.
ОтветитьSellita w200 yema no
200 yema calibre francés de manufactura propia
Yema lleva calibre 200 pero no sellota el calibre yema es manufacturado por yema y no tiene nada que ver con e200 ni con eta 2824 es un calibre 100 por cien manufacturado por yema
ОтветитьGood sélection....but....Yema is definitly not a microbrand.
It's an historical french manufacture based in french Jura.
Baltic is Reality becoming interestimg
ОтветитьI appreciate the time you take to put out this type of informative, very well-done video. I've seen others you've done and just ordered a Traska, a choice influenced by your presentation and review. Thanks again for your time, your effort, and for sharing your passion and expertise.
ОтветитьTachometer not speedometer.
ОтветитьHalios !
ОтветитьI totally support you teddy 🐻 I am also a lover of watches large and small . Great video and all the featured time pieces are fantastic.
ОтветитьI'm getting into Microbrands now. My Nodus Duality is beautiful, a couple of Zelos and love the value of Deep Blue divers.
ОтветитьYema does have QC issues. They have problems with the bezel not being aligned very accurately. I sold mine. At over $1K these issues should not happen
Ответитьlove my hitori habuka, recommend to check it out
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on the trilobe nuit fantastique?
ОтветитьWould you be able to do a jack mason review?
ОтветитьAre Boldr watches good?
ОтветитьLove the review & love the shout out to Vortic! I went ahead and purchased one! Love the history, thanks again for all the reviews...
ОтветитьWhat’s the general opinion on Hoffman racing 40?
ОтветитьLove the channel, especially your thoughts on micro brands. Just purchased a VanBanner, my first micro brand watch and so impressed with the quality.
ОтветитьIt's a bummer that the only interesting design is a repurposed pocket watch...too many divers!
ОтветитьThank you for the review. Especially for the divers, it would be great to see the lume shots at the end of each watch!
ОтветитьThanks for that great review of some under rated microbrands, a really good insight into what makes them tick!
ОтветитьAll beautiful watches, but strikes me that all of them are “small”, 41mm or less. How about larger driver watches like 44mm??
ОтветитьThe Serica 5303 midnight blue is quite something
Ответить
