What an abhorrent waste…
Ответитьi like how at the start, rob is just watching andrew pilot a spaceship and just asking what every button does and by the end rob is going in with both hands creating disgusting glitchy beats
Ответитьone of my dreams is to get an opportunity to play with modular, even though im not a musician.
Ответитьthe rise with modules alongside synths and DAWs, this encouraged more musicians to become a one man show. in my case, throughout those past 25 years i tried to make a band that will stick together, but ofc we all know it can be very challenging, specially if the number of musicians are more than 3-4.
in the end i turned to electronic music, but basically trying to make as much organic sounds on it, i dont need anyone anymore, i can play all my instruments, and i can totally orchestrate the rest through modulars and synths on my DAW. in less than a year i got music that has be heard on all platforms. freedom of music <3
I've never had to pay so much attention to a video to just not get lost
Ответить$100k worth of synth, 1000s of hours, lots of fun to play with, almost totally pointless and impractical for music production of any kind....
Ответитьmake a beat and have a freestyle in real time
ОтветитьUtknąłem w tym dźwięku 🙄😍
ОтветитьThis has gotta be how Aesop rock makes his beats lol
Ответитьwe could just sample the sounds of them unplugging cables, there's a whole kit in those sounds
ОтветитьSecond full view, a total pleasure
ОтветитьLove it... awesome!!!
ОтветитьI discovered VCV Rack a few weeks ago and life has never been so interesting
Ответитьandrew is mad smortt
ОтветитьDope fellas💯
Ответить“Do you wanna make a snare from scratch?” The way Andrew excitedly asks Rob like little kids playing in the backyard. This was so fun to watch!
ОтветитьThis is Electrical Sorcery ..... Need to be a Rocket Scientist to use this
Ответить45 min of mario sound, such a nice peace of .... awesomeness
ОтветитьNow I gotta go watch regular show
ОтветитьWhat size battery does it use? AA or 9Volt?
ОтветитьN8NOFACE ENTERS THE CHAT
ОтветитьAfter investing so much money and using such high technology, this sound is disappointing. I have even witnessed this sound coming from some free vsts. I think modular synth is an unnecessary mess and disappointment. I don't understand why people insist on it.
ОтветитьMoog?
ОтветитьPete Townsend in the 70s would have loved this.
ОтветитьSo we invested 20K, have around 4000 knobs, 30 screens. 200 patch cables andall you have actualy created is 6 square meter of wallpaper. It can produce nothing interesting enough that makes this investment make any sense besides nerdy'ness, I've heard only bleeps and blops that i can get out of a few 100 euro's too...
ОтветитьAm I the only one thaty thinks those condom beanies look stupid?
ОтветитьAs a modular-synth user - with refurbished equipment that is always at risk of breaking - seeing Rob playing so much, made me panic - however, he still managed to come up with sounds that I wish I had in my library 😅
Ответитьso viele Knöpfe, Module und strippen und am ende nur gerausche geraschel und gezierpe? echt jetzt?
Ответить@RobScallon DID HE BUILD THIS? HIMSELF?!
Ответитьwow😂
ОтветитьAppropriate funeral music for the aliens shown in your fucking Congress.
Ответитьthe more i watch this the more it shows off the brain of all musicians, one side is playing and the other is conducting, and the way rob and andrew work together show off how the brain works
ОтветитьКак всегда, отличная работа
ОтветитьPlay Greg on this thing
ОтветитьAhh human music. I like it
Ответитьthe difference between Module software compared to actual physical synth modules is what happens with the sound, software modulation is still steppy and less lucid as opposed to physical modules, Deadmou5 samples in Joel's songs are a great example
ОтветитьSo this is the machine that gave droids in star wars their bleepy voice eh?
ОтветитьWendy would be proud
Ответитьthis is the coolest thing in the world
ОтветитьThe first modular session I’ve seen where it’s possible to follow what’s going on and is actually cool lol 😂
ОтветитьPerformance is over when there are so many patch cords attached that you can't reach the knobs any more.
