Alan Wake 2 Xbox Series S vs. Series X vs. PS5 Comparison | Loading, Graphics & FPS Test

This came with my 40 series laptop I just bought. I’m curious to see how it runs.

I feel like I'm the only one who can't go back to 30fps, especially on my 120hz tv. It's painful and looks choppy.

My ps5 games loads faster then 27 seconds lol

I'm playing this on my neo g8. And the shadows and quality sucks

After looking at this, the PS5 is literally unplayable….

But not 120?

Aside from the fact that Xbox skips logos, in order to have a fair comparison in SSD loading times you have to load the game at the same spot. Different textures and assets will take different loading times. So that particular comparison is not valid.

What PC mode would you compare with the Ps5 performance (60fps)? Mid, high, low?

Xbox Series X thumbs up for more texture and shadow quality (look at the shadow behing the guy sitted and also the glass behind him)

Remedy have delivered something truly amazing, can't wait for their next project!

Graphics are bad imo, everyone is salivating but there is too much visual noise in metals, water etc from the upscaling.

Another 30fps in 2023 wtf next gen?

This game has no joke the best high fidelity quality graphics settings I have seen for an Xbox series X game. The 30 FPS is so damn stable it feels like you're playing a movie. I'm about 4 hours into the game and I haven't even bothered putting it on performance yet because I'm just really enjoying how beautiful this game looks.

How to MAXIMIZE frames. On 3080ti or newer. You can run everything on ultra with maxed ray tracing settings in 1080p native dlaa and get 60fps in town. Turn ray tracing to low to get 60fps in the woods. Foliage is the biggest denominator in this game for FPS
