EVERYTHING is Leaking for Nintendo Switch 2!

Nintendo HAS to highlight their C Button functionality AND cover the new iteration of the NSO for Switch 2 because that was one of the biggest weakness on Switch 1. Imagine the new Mario Kart bringing back the Double Dash format and you can link up with your friends who are riding with you.

This is so wack. Nintendo isn’t going to just cold drop Switch 2 announcement. They’re going to announce it like a week before that they’ll be “holding a Nintendo direct in regards to future hardware” or something.

For the non-tech savvy that don't understand. The clock speed for the CPU is lower because it has a much lower nanometer size. It's taking far less power for the same processes considering it's 8 nanometer. The interesting bit would be assessing the threaded performance. But all of that might not matter considering dlss will be doing most of the work.

Nvidia showed off that they can do 30 million processes with what typically only takes 2 million.

Basically the same thing will be done with rendering and graphics processing.

This is only an Eli 5 explanation and it's not technically accurate but it is a decent explanation for the layman

If they get a ps4 pro level of power in a portable that will be impressive! Not sure why some sound disappointed that it’s not ps5 levels of graphics. The ps5 is huge!

With no official announcement by now, it is safe to assume that it will not be revealed tomorrow. We aren't getting a Switch 2 shadowdrop. lol. It's possible the Jan 16th release rumor was a lie, but it's also possible that it was true and Nintendo delayed the reveal to reconsider their approach.

If we assume the Switch 2 reveal trailer was intended to be similar to the original Switch's reveal trailer, and didn't intend to show much beyond the visuals and form factor, the leaks have rendered that moot. So maybe Nintendo has decided to combine the hardware specs trailer into the reveal trailer in order to give us something new to talk about.

People are getting everything wrong. Those leaked data mine clock speeds are likely system idle clock speeds. You can’t compare Teraflops from completely different architectures. Also Ampere has double precision Teraflops. So if it says 1,720 Teraflops it really means 860 Gflops while portable. While 3,090 Teraflops means 1,545 Teraflops.

I’m such a fan of Nintendo and the switch that I’m getting this regardless, my only silly complaint is I want a cool special edition one like the animal crossing switch and I don’t want to wait for something like that lol.

TFLOPs is literally all that matters, everything you want to add to this like Upscalers scales with the TFLOPs, less TFLOPs = less Upscaling. No one uses Upscaling anyway because in makes the image blurry, everyone knows this from Thread Interactive. Switch 2 being on par with PS4 was expected.

I think Nintendo made the 2 that big to make it clear to them that it's a successor and not an accessories. People have NO excuse not to get it this time. I still can't believe people didn't get the Wii U faceplam...their message was clear as day..

My prediction for the retail price: more expensive than Switch 1. How much more I don't know. And literally just basing on the description and features given.
