Razer makes the best mice, logitech is trying a jedi mind trick on gamers. I had a g502 once, left click glitched out within a year. All you logitech nerds need to try razer, you won't go back.

Logitech MX518 i had this bad boy and imagine it was from 2005 and it first today i replaced it imagine that using this old OG and change to G502 hero :D why i choose another wired logitech mouse

if you buy this over a lightweight wireless mouse, you are trash at any game

Been using G502s for years - when I 'switched' to the Hero design, the LMB and RMB switches began to fail over a couple months.

I've had a G502 Proteus Spectrum for almost 6 years now, just replaced its cable as the old one finally died after being mildly scorched years ago (long story haha). It's the first proper quality gaming mouse I've had, and honestly, in spite of the thumb rest rubber almost being worn smooth, and the LMB/RMB switches being a little less crisp than back in 2018, and the scroll wheel coating having corroded badly (gotta love those), I just don't wanna switch. It's still perfectly good and I'll keep using it until it completely dies. And then I might just get whatever wireless G502 variant is the cheapest at that point.

G502 owner for 6 long years, and planning to change to another 502 when this one break. Never had a problem with the good old friend

I believe I am one of the few looking for a "heavy" mouse. Just ordered mine on that point alone, looking forward to setting it up.

Getting a double click on a single click is the one and only thing I dislike about the mouse. I'm currently on a 502 lightspeed and love it. Except for those random double clicks.

Almost 3000 dpi?? Here I am sitting on 600dpi and considering if I should go even lower.

I like the weights, and wish they also came with the g502 lightspeed x (the new version of the g502). I like my mouse to have some heft, i also play on super high dpi. Also, those "super light" mice are horribly uncomfortable and feel like those super cheap laptop mouse you buy to throw into your laptop bag. The whole "super light" trend is a fad honestly.

Honetly the whole "light mouse" trend is super overated. Obviously you don't want your mouse to feel like a brick, but the g502 is the most comfortable mouse I've ever use. It's got a brilliant ergonomivc design and even similarly designed mice like the basilisk just don't compare to the feel of a g502. But the current trend is tiny, feather light mice that are ethonomically horribly designed and have the shape of a 11 euro laptop mouse you buy for school / to throw in a laptop bag.

P.s. The regular g502 lightpseed comes with added weights and rgb. But the ligthspeed x which doesn't have the weights and rgb has much better buttons on the side of the left mouse button (much easier and more comfortable to press, don't have to take your finger of the left mouse button) and teflon pads for better glide. If you're gonna buy one go with the ligthspeed x. I have both, love them both but the easy to hit buttons next to the left mouse button make it so you can use those buttons quickly and bind them to important actions in game. While the regular g502's buttons you need to take your finger of the left mouse button and kind awkwardly press them so they are best for binding things that are slightly less imortant (e.g. in cod WZI have on of them set to killstreaks on the g502 but on the g502 x you could put set them to anything from lethals to crouch etc )

my reddragon nothosaur smth started buggin out, wheel button got stuck on left click and after i tried everything i can, and when i gave up - it went normal XD. I used it for idk years? and no complains, no surface coming off or anything, its under 20 for sure i guess , hard to remember and i bought it for rubles , not $

I hate the dude at Logitech who thought rubber and unneeded grooves would help in gripping a mouse. Makes the mouse unnecessary sticky and dirty with prolonged use. It goes to the point where I had to use outside products to bandaid the g502.
But aside from that I like the mouse

I'm probably one of the only people that like a heavy large mouse for my small hands

GHub is a nightmare. I hate it. How can it be considered usable. It's appallingly confusing and unintuitive. Great mouse though.

The button layout and thumb skate are a MUST for me... Don't see any other mouse doing it as well.

I just love that mouse. As a programmer and gamer, with at least 8 to 12 hours a day on the PC for more than 20 years, the G502 Hero is a bliss to me.

Sidenote: I always prefered Logitech over Razor mice - they just last longer and feel more well-designed overall. I had the first MX500, MX510, MX1000, Razor Deathadder, Razor Diamondback, Mad Rat 7 and now the 502 Hero for the second time, 2 of my brothers also own one.

Just realized my mouse is a G502. A little bit worn down, but works like a charm.

Zowie mice are still the best in my opinion the best shapes and great build quality. And about switches Omron are MEH. Huano switches is the best for sure. The Huano blue shell pink dot is prob the best. I wish more companies put Huano switches in their mice

i must have been very unlucky. bought one recently. it was scratching on the mousepad to a degree that is was unbearable. tried 4 different mousepads. returned it the same day.

wireless basilisk 2 is what i use. how can it be better.

Why don't they give a quite click button option? all it takes is have different switches; very easy change.

Wheel broke in less than a year for me. The pin for the wheel broke, so it still clicked just fine but the wheel spun and did nothing.

My G502's middle mouse button started failing so I think I want to replace it.
Does anyone have reccomendations? -
I want something similar in size as the G502 - but could do without the DPI shift button (I just disable it) -
I definitely want side buttons for forward and back
And I'd appreciate a toggle for DPI (I use very low DPI, and turn it up if someone wants to go on my pc for something).

If they made it less than 60g, it'd be the best mouse in all existence. lmao. I think I've owned every model they've released, and my only complain is literally just weight. Phenomenal performer.

I can confirm, the switches on these things fail very quickly. I've had to toss the thing after only about 6 months of use due to both the right and left switches having the issues mentioned in the video. I went back to my old reliable sensei mouse that I stopped using awhile back due to the center mouse button not working anymore.


I'd recommend spending more on a mouse that will last longer, because in the long run, the 502 will cost you more due to how quickly the switches fail.

Had a 502. Everything is perfect about that mouse! What I love most about it is the adjustable weight. I love the balance of actually feeling the weight of a mouse (it give me more accuracy, develops muscle memory as well)

my a4tech x81 is better than all of these

im scared it wont drag click because of the switch so if it dosent ima be super sad as i have hyped this mouse up and it will be a big drawback going from a bloody to something that cant drag click its here it arrived like an hour or two ago it dosent register the clicks 😞

Great video been using a 305 now and have a 502 coming tomorrow from Amazon looking forward to the extra bind buttons for first person shooters to take the work load off my azeron compact key pad

g502 is a better working mouse than gaming mouse, although it might be decent for games where you have a lot of actions, and the main focus isn't aiming

Got mine a few days ago, I can instantly tell a difference quality wise between other mice ive had in the past. Feels amazing.
