If I delete files in the 3rd quadrant of rstudio, am i removing them from my hard drive? i dont want them on rstudio at this time and i dont want them hidden how do i accomplish that? thanks!

Code is not scary you say? I installed R and R studio following your steps exactly but I get a big fat error when I try to run read.csv("Data/friends.csv")

so I am trying to download R studio, but my mac system is older and there are no additional installers for older operating systems...
