I thought it was only possible to get the public properties of the injected class but it allow us to consume private data through getters, I'm new to PHP but I'm enjoying a lot, by the way, this 5 minutes series of yours is awesome to get a general overview, thnx :)

So, is dependency injection just a way of avoiding using inheritance by referencing a class level property instantiated at construction? I'm failing to understand all the mystique around dependency injection. it looks like something people have been implementing for a long time in OO before someone decided to call it dependency injection.
