Is D4 Season 4 Worth Playing?

July 9th last Epoch’s 1st Cycle!

I quit during season 2 but it's looking better the devs said there's 100 levels above the previous cap

whatever that means I've been gone so long and am switching from consoles to pc only

It's definitely a No i think for most people have that have already played it. Just sensible stats and some crafting it's hardly any different at all.

I didn't play S3 at all, going to check out S4 though.

Are the legendary set equipments up yet? If not then no.

Ok so hit 100 in a day fully geared in 3 or 4 days then run pit200 then what that’s like maybe a week… no real rankings no economy no currency no real PvP.. the game is a worse version of d3 with out a currency and trading and economy there will never be a reason to play longer then a week into the season

Itemization will always be ass as long as they shower you with gear the game is for basic ass casuals why even have trading when in a day or 2 everyone will have the items anyway tf

Even if it is... Personally ill never support blizzard (havent in years and was reinforced after watching what happened to OW2) and after seeing what Microsoft is doing with game studios im at an extremely easy pass as playing D4 would also be supporting Microsoft now since the merger.

I’m hearing if you still like the game great but there’s no real reason to play season 4. Apparently you can just play the eternal realm this time. This is actually good for us who have been playing since launch and we have a bunch of characters we’re not done playing. In seasons it’s easy to run out of time cause they are only 3 months long. Season 4 isn’t giving us anything new other than crafting and the pit.

I’m coming back to play s4 after a long break. Pretty excited for it! Looks like the specific changes to loot and end game is worth giving it a try.

id say if you have 300 hours in it yeah, if not no... The devs said they will never have raids or in depth the skill tree.

I'm not a picky person, I really like D4, they just need more classes.

100% worth trying. I did alot of hours on the ptr.

I appreciate extreme complexity but I do like that D4 is a little more simplified because I have things to achieve in life so I don't need to put that much thought into a video game unless it was how I feed myself.

No its not i gave it three seasons and i lost interest part way into season 3.

they need to get rid of eternal round and just lets keep item from season to season like any other game ...

Not worth. Lots of change means lots of bugs, nerfs and balancing needed. Its a step on right direction?? Sure.. but still not worth it.. just wait for s5 and see if they add a purpose or enough end game

The same builds as always, but hopefully more of them will be top performers. Same as every other ARPG, there are builds in POE that have been popular and powerful for literally years, how come I never hear anyone complaining about that?

I just don't like the majority of the skill tree of the classes. They really, really need to reconsider making the base layer of the skills enjoyable independent of items. Items should just make good better. The base skill should not be annoying to use.

Diablo 4 is a great game. That people want to hate.

Still feels boring. Maybe the lack of a great season theme.

Season 4 is no different. It's RNG within RNG, and you are expected to farm like a mindless zombie without having any fun. Screw d4, really.

I am actually downloading the season 4 update as I write this.
I don't have a "crew" I play with - so I'm mostly doing everything solo.
In every season so far, I get to level 100 and can collect enough gear to handle tier 80 or so dungeons.
And that's it. I hit a brick wall.
I won't spend hundreds of hours grinding the extreme gear you need to go beyond this (cue the Fanbois calling me lazy) - so I just stop playing for the remainder of the season.
If Blizz doesn't do something to keep my interest this season, I doubt I'll continue wasting my time. At a certain point, it just isn't fun.
