ОтветитьI have this scanner. Great for those that can’t afford a pro one. I own a Topdon Phoenix lite 2 also.
The catalytic converter is over one thousand degrees. Not one hundred degrees as you said. Great video though.
what is a 9 falls sorry chibi large pan eat santing legal offer livable leaf what is all that i don't under stand
Ответитьcan't under stand this guy at all
ОтветитьWhy do u say guys so much?
ОтветитьAny chance it’s the pcm?
ОтветитьI searched through about 50 videos and you know how time-consuming that can be with all the commercials, until I found this guy who actually showed me what a bad O2 sensor looks like on an OBD2 scanner. Thank you!
ОтветитьSo why would my mechanic charge me for 2 hours of diagnostic time to find the bad sensor when this video was under 10 minutes?
ОтветитьWith my scanner, sensor 1 is In milliamperes. Do you know what a good range is for sensor (upstream) 1 In milliamperes?
ОтветитьHello great video! According to my scan tool my 2000 Toyota Camry 2.2 l 4 cylinder bank 1 sensor 1 upstream shows I have over three volts when warmed up! Would that .ean I have a short maybe or bad sensor. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
ОтветитьIdk but i like this ,thx
ОтветитьI have one question, I have mazda 6 2008 1.8 petrol and when accelerate it's jerking and choke like thing, staling until 3-4000 rpm. No check engine light and when use scan tool it's says some strange thing. First even temperature is like 91C says that is Open loop inficuent temerature, there is no senson 2 or downstream, for sensor 1 voltage is constant high, constant low sometimes it's oscilating. Short term fuel is stuck on 0 and curent in mA of sensor 1 is constant 6.35mA.
Is that sigh tnat is sensor bad, folowing your video I think it is but I am not mechanic. On local mechanik shops they are unable to resolve problem without telling me they need to replace MAF, spark plugs, acc sensor and eletronic motor and that is too expensiv.
I have a 2003 toyota camry sensor 2 fluctuates and then drops to zero at times while driving... the car is running fine but throwing a p0420 code for the cat... trying to check all options before going for the cat
ОтветитьMy B1-S1 voltage is usually around 5V
ОтветитьGreat video, Thank you 👍💯
ОтветитьMy car o2s11 shows 3.337V and o2s21 shows 3.313V ... what is going on
ОтветитьThank you for video. 4 cylinder Honda Accord. On scanner the O2B1S1 is giving a reading of “n/a” .. so it’s bad correct? The O2B1S2 give a between .4. -.6. Any suggestions
ОтветитьDarn you a a good mechanic
ОтветитьHi: my car oxygen sensor replaced, do the smoke inspection. now no fault code, does the car have to run for 200 mi before going to the smoke inspection?
ОтветитьHis sister is number 1 in all of Kazakhstan
ОтветитьVery helpful if your car has OBDII.
Mine does not.
So I have a diesel and my engine coolant temperature doesn’t seem to go over 160F/ 72c and in diesels since the fuel combusts from the high compression and cylinder heat I may be experiencing an issue where I’m having some unburnt fuel deposit into my exhaust. My bank 1 sensor 1 and sensor 2 both seem stable at around 0.8 v but when I give it gas they spike, does that mean my o2 sensors are probably good but im having issues with engine temps burning fuel?
I also noticed a slight drop in fuel economy possibly due to engine not able to warm up all the way due to a bad thermostat
I get 2.100 n 2.220 on my bank 2 oxygen sensor 1 n on the oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1.
Does that mean both of those are bad
1000 Degrees You Meant Right
ОтветитьMy downstream sensor drops to 0.24 and back up to 0.65 and back again....is that a bad thing?
ОтветитьWell explained video. I have a question though. Its about the faulty Sensor 2 post cat sensor that showed 1.270v. Is that voltage from the ECU?
I have a GM corsa with a bank 1 sensor 2 P0138 & P0140.
It shows in live readings as 1.275v constant, even when the engine is cold and off, with the ignition on?
Hi how r u . Have a 2004 e320 wagon I broke the handle of the cover that cover my third seat and reserve or spare tires .How can I fix that problem. Thanks
ОтветитьB1 s1 keeps reading max on my TT 1.999 is that a bad pre cat sensor?
ОтветитьThere's something hilarious about a dude with a thick European accent doing an incredibly thorough diagnostic on a Jeep.
Ответитьmy upstream sensor shows between -0.20 to 0.01... this doesnt seem ok and the car takes lots of gas.. is this also a bad sensor? or a different problem
ОтветитьGood humor. Bought the 7 piece socket o2 set. Only 1 fits the sensor, and I can't get leverage where its at. Won't budge. Sprayed penetrating oil, etc. Only thing I can think of is a very deep well socket to get me up and above some where I have some room to work. Will add an extension bar to the wrench too. That rear cyl 4-6 socket is in a hellish position. LOVE IT! Probably like this to force me to take it in somewhere.............
ОтветитьWhat about driving downstream reading. My son's Toyota is reading 0.000 and bounces to the highest, 0.035. But mostly at 0.000 while driving 55 to 60 MPH. The upflow is up and down like what you were showing.
I just cleaned his cat, as it was getting clogged up a bit. It was giving him a code that the cat was going out. He keeps getting the evap system code too. Changed everything but the evap canister. I ised the dish soap method to clean out his cat, and it seems to have worked. I didn't check what the readings were before cleaning it out. The light shows it cleaned out a good amount. Couldn't see light through it before. See pots of light through it now.
This tells you the 02 sensor is stuffed, not bad.
Ответить💎💎💎💎💎
Ответитьthis video is 44 GPM (guys per minute)
ОтветитьHello...ive seen a video were they tested the o2 sensors by pumping the brakes and watching the graph move up and down? Which test is more accurate?? Thx
ОтветитьNice job! Big help
ОтветитьGreat video as usual. Is there a time where the oxygen sensor is just a little off and needs to be be replaced, or is it usually "it works or it doesn't"?
ОтветитьHi, Great stuff. You know your stuff.
Question. I am getting O2 codes on 2000 ML430, My symptons are NO start when truck is warm. I did cde check got O2 sen0r BANK2. I am going to order in a couple of weeks. But want to be sure this will fix my no start. ( thought it was immobiliser but found the no start was only when warm)
Hi have a question. What if the catalytic converters has the one problem. Does graphics moves up and down still?
Ответитьwhat a out the oxygen sensor current? my scanner doesn't show the voltage for o2 B1S1 only shows current which is around 0.02mA. is this ok?
ОтветитьSir..good day.. if the minimum output voltage of sensor down to 0.000 v,it is fine??
ОтветитьAll this BS they place on cars to save a resilient planet is nothing but political BS to take your money and control people.
Ответить"start your car outside, never start it inside" proceeds to start car inside garage lol
ОтветитьWhat if you have a 2013 nissan rogue, with a p0171 code? My Bank 1 Sensor 1 is reading at 2.250V. I've tried going through everything on this vehicle. At first it wouldn't start back up even after shutting it off for just 5 mins.
ОтветитьI just wanted to say thank you for your videos. They have saved me time and money. I just ordered an upstream O2 sensor for my Elantra bcuz it is idling rough and the mileage is dropping. At 172,000 miles, I will simply replace it. Thanks for the testing video as well as the "how to" replace it video.
