Does he have a video on school/ study optimization
Ответитьcroissant? is it a vegetable?
Ответитьspring fever is scientifically verified ;)
ОтветитьYour podcasts are very informative and easy to understand professor. God bless you. Love from Bharat ❤😊
ОтветитьThe temperature information makes sense. Lately as it has been so cold in the UK and I live on a boat- so its currently 2-4degrees when i wake up. I have been waking up earlier around 6am which i do like to wake at that time. But on the back of that, with your information on exercise- I did a 7pm Circuits workout last night and I slept in till 7.15am!
ОтветитьI felt so ignorante with the "croissant" vegetable comment 🤭 So I googled: "croissant vegetal huberman lab" and laugh 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьAmazing to hear someone so intelligent and grounded in science talk so much about something so fictional and silly like the earth bring a globe and it flying through space around the sun. Goes that’s “science” for you. What did everyone say in 2020/21, “tRuSt tHe sCiEnCe” 😂
ОтветитьI struggle between deciding if this info is important and useful to do we really need to know this type of shit?
ОтветитьI have a question so what is best for you.
Is it best when your temperature is higher or when its lower?
This content is truly exceptional. A book I recently explored with this theme profoundly touched me. "Better Sleep Better Life" by William Brook
ОтветитьI figured it must be these shows.
Ответить❤🎉
ОтветитьI've watched a few podcasts now and it's fascinating the connections you make with new information. For instance, this podcast, talking about how you don't actually learn the task while you are studying it and it's after while sleeping or resting that your brains changes - Well, that makes total sense. It's the same as working out, right? Pretty cool.
ОтветитьJust a thought, maybe you can find out if Costello remembers the tunes played to im in his sleep by scanning his brain and some cells for musical memory shine bright 🤔
ОтветитьOn your waking up paralyzed section i had a good laugh in regard to you saying someone could in theory get used to it. Simply due to the fact that i myself used to smoke Marijuana on the night shift and would take naps and wake up paralyzed. In the beginning it was terrifying, but after a couple of times or so, i learned that if i tried hard enough to move i could wake my body.
ОтветитьCan you please do an episode on sleep but focusing on hormones and how hormone shifts can impact sleep. Specifically, looking at the impacts of menstruation on sleep quality, and how to use tools to better improve your sleep throughout your menstrual cycle.
ОтветитьI tried the sleep hypnosis with Michael Sealey last night. I had multiple dreams, & woke up refreshed & rested.
ОтветитьThey are putting uv blocks into lens now so wearing them will ruin your sleep

ОтветитьGlorious, thank you.
ОтветитьRe sleep paralysis, I have read and have some experience that moving your eyes and/or changing breathing (neither are affected by sleep paralysis) can cause waking if you are stuck in sleep paralysis. A note on mania, it’s not necessarily positive emotions, can be but also can be extremely unpleasant anxiety and agitation etc. Apparently goldfish do have a longer memory span - I think this was done on “myth busters”
ОтветитьThanks for the brain food ...you have taught me so much ❤
ОтветитьComprehensive and enjoyable information
ОтветитьWOW! This is the first time I hear that springtime is the season when most suicides are committed. I absolutely LOVE the spring, but on the other hand it always was, for me, the most difficult time of the year to deal with. I don't know how to explain it well other than to say that my psyche loves it,(after dark, smog -filled, soggy winter) but my brain and my entire body are just so worn out and my anxiety is through the roof. ''April is the cruelest month.'' Love the snoring.
ОтветитьHello Huberman lab team, I really appreciate your content. Thanks to you I’m realising I’ve been living in hard mode my entire life. No regular sleeping schedule, I’m a big procrastinator and I used to study at night. After a certain age I even stopped doing sport. It all ended up in me being always tired and being cold as well. No I understand why. I think it’s key to know all this informations. I’m getting a master degree in engineering knowing the most ridiculous things (like quantum-tunnels in photovoltaics) and I don’t know shit about my well-being. I hope all this topics will be introduced in the mandatory school soon.
Anyway, I got a question that maybe you’ve already addressed in some other episodes: since I’m getting into cold showers in the morning to shift my circadian rhythm and to improve mood and all the other stuff, I was wondering if I have to apply the intermittent random reinforcement with the cold showers as well, since it’s a source of dopamine (I do a small abs workout beforehand as well).
Yoo
ОтветитьI had to look it up... "1993:The NIH Revitalization Act was signed into law on June 10, 1993. For the first time, NIH-funded investigators were to be required to include women as well as men in human subject research."
ОтветитьThis Ep was so great thank you so much Dr Andrew
ОтветитьHi Andrew, direct sunlight in the bunghole wakes me right up. Try it out. For science!
ОтветитьThank you Andrew for sharing your voice and the science behind the WHY!
ОтветитьAt about 22 minutes you are speaking about how indoor light does not produce the same effects. You state that eye glasses do not do this because they focus the light as the reason they do not cause the same reduction in effects. I believe this is incorrect. To me I believe that it is the aperture of the glasses vs the aperture of the window the explain the difference.
I also believe your statement that glasses will focus the light on the retina/back of eye could be an explanation. The glasses focus does not put more light in the eye, but they focus the image. The light energy in the eye is relatively equal regardless of the focus.
Loving your podcast, listened to a bunch already, and just went back to #1 and listening sequentially.
What happens if you star with a hot shower and then turn the water into cold? Are you experiencing the same outcomes?
ОтветитьGreat demonstration of comprehensive knowledge
ОтветитьLore
ОтветитьGreat question
The role of fire light such as candles like used in yoga practice
With professor Andrew we go deep into science topics
ОтветитьG1 also sent a jug and spoon to scoop the green powder
ОтветитьWill try G1 with lemon juice I also received DK 2 liquid oil Athletic Greens tastes great mixes very well loved it
ОтветитьTLDW?
ОтветитьInquiring minds want to know.. do you time your podcast recording based on your own ultradian cycles? Is it not a coincidence they're all about 90 min long?
Ответить💖❤️💖🙏❤️💖❤️
Ответитьthank you !
