Every time they bring on Wanda Jo Oliver, they need to have her wig be bigger and bigger.
ОтветитьI don't like leaving home. My idea of a vacation is a week off work in my room playing minecraft or any other game
ОтветитьIt's times like these where I'm thankful to be autistic, because I cannot for the life of me comprehend how the correct social nicety is 'Stay and listen to a 5-7 hour long aggressive sales pitch for something you really don't want' and not 'Just get up and fucking leave'.
Like; why you normal people making yourselves suffer like that? Just leave any social interaction you don't care about, it's okay!
This is robbery in plain sight. Why is something not being done to stop this? It is a form of wealth transfer from the easily influenced to a group of scam artists in cheap suits, and the owners of the companies they work for.
ОтветитьThere might be hospital patients who are terminal that might be willing to help.
Once they pass, the timeshare is eliminated
Wasting everyone's time as a sport. Omfg awesome!!!!!
ОтветитьPeople need to realise that Timeshare companies lie to get the deal.
People arent willingly agreeing to lose thousands of dollars.
.... Okay I didn't know you had to ""inherit"" a timeshare. Good to know but thanks for giving me something new to stress about. My parents' timeshare isn't even in the U.S., it's in Canada, which will probably make it even more of a nightmare... hopefully when the time comes I can just scam my sister into inheriting it :P
ОтветитьCan a business be incorporated to take on all those 0$ timeshares and then default on literally all of the fees?
ОтветитьWhen I was unemployed I got a call from a timeshare guy who said "free dinner". I told him I was unemployed and had absolutely no money to spend - he say "come on down anyway". I ate my meal, listened to the pitch and then told the saleman and his manager -"I'm unemployed and can't afford to buy anything" - I never lied to them. The salesman's manager was pissed. Oh well
Ответитьmany people are just too afraid to stand up for themselves and say No! If they persist just get up and walk away. What are they gonna do try to stop you?
Ответитьain't no democrats giving a mea culpa at the end..........we all graduated 6 th grade MAGA ! Just do your F in JOB !
ОтветитьIf she voted for trump, she deserves her stupidity.
ОтветитьWent into timeshare presentation for free night stay. After rejecting the pitch numerous time they just wanted me to buy one night for next year. It was literally like the guy said - don't let them leave without buying something. Lol
Of course also had to fight for my 1 night free after being in office for 1.5 hrs.
As a European can someone explain why you would even want a lifelong commitment to going on holiday at the same place ? I don’t get that to be honest
Ответитьhe said the F work times in the first 12 minutes, is he 12 yo? this appeals to the EMmy writers apparently
ОтветитьHow can I be responsible for something my mom or dad signed up for? Could I not just ask them to show me my signature, and when they fail to produce it...tell them to kick rocks?
ОтветитьYou're so cute with your "what we need to do" segments.
ОтветитьWell she's just stupid. $14k?
ОтветитьYou just stop paying them. Don't go back, and ignore them. They will eventually go away. You do have to forfeit the deal, but you are better off.
ОтветитьThanks John
Ответитьyeah, "100 % succes rate", is like "Safe and effective", A RED FLAG!!!
ОтветитьAmerica never fails to astonish me in terms of what's actually legal there.
ОтветитьCouldn't people donate their time shares to Our Lady? It's not for profit....
ОтветитьCan you will it to someone you don't like?
ОтветитьBack when I just got a job I had the typical "vacation club" phone call and somehow agreed to it. Then I did some research and knew how bad it can be. Knowing I am the type of person who have soft ears, I'd rather not go at all so I kept "pushing back" on the redemption dates and eventually told them to not bother.
Now thinking about it, when you accept that deal package, you already accepted "prepay vacation and redeem on any time of year" concept. That means you're already following their model and you're an easy pray for them. I'm glad I did not, though had to pay for the lesson and lack of life experience.
So many bangers on my recommended
ОтветитьWhat we need is a hero, someone to buy or inherit every time share, to sacrifice themselves so others can be free
ОтветитьI love Rachel Dratch!
ОтветитьBranson, Missouri is littered with timeshares and timeshare exit billboards. My grandparents had a timeshare there and spent years and thousands of dollars getting out of it. My uncle is a pretty good lawyer but they had to hire a specialist lawyer because the contracts are full of so much fuckery.
Ответитьi've always wanted to attend a timeshare presentation to poke the bear, get them slinging insults only to smile and give it back to them until they kicked me out. seems fun.
ОтветитьAs a european, I now know about timeshares: It is a scam and it has something to do with vacation, apartently vacation in the same place like a subscription. The concept seems ridiculous and I'm happy that we dont have this.
ОтветитьI asked them who pays for repairs if the roof is ripped off in a hurricane. Asked them what percentage of people tried to resell their share. "We have no statistics for that."
ОтветитьMy mom and I went to one of these presentations, and I kept asking questions they couldn't answer. Finally, had Mom pretend to feel ill to get out of there, but they still didn't want to give us whatever premium they were offering, until I raised my voice and said that the "90 minute presentation " had gone WAY overtime!
ОтветитьI’m surprised that there aren’t law firms that follow these timeshare scammers around and just charging a quick small fee to review and get people out of these nightmares.
ОтветитьWhen my parents were young, they attended a time share presentation in Orlando in exchange for discounted Disney perks. Fortunately they brought me along, a fussy 1 year old who screamed through the entire presentation. The sales people couldn't get my family out of there fast enough.
Ответить"3-58 business months" fucking killed me.
ОтветитьShe sounds like Ms Minutes from Loki
ОтветитьRachel Dratch is a treasure
ОтветитьDave Ramsey is one of the most predatory people in the financial advice sector. Only listen to him if your credit store is in the 350-500 range.
ОтветитьStep 1: Set up a timeshare comapny that makes people blow through their money. Step 2: Set up a company to help people get out of their timeshares. Step 3: profit
ОтветитьMy elderly mother accepted the offer of the few free nights on a beachfront property. Invited us out to stay with her and we treated it like a little vacation, with her proud of her ingenuity and frugality. She planned on going to the timeshare sales pitch by herself while we enjoyed the beach, but I insisted on coming along. Very predatory sales practices, and one of the salesman even accused me, with quite a lot of animosity, of being her "bodyguard." Well, after about 5 hours of this nonsense we pointed out that the email detailing what was to be expected only stated us to be there for 4 hours. And we demanded to be able to leave, and so that was that. but it was very predatory and quite aggressive. These windbags Prey Upon vulnerable individuals, mostly the elderly. Terrible people over all.
ОтветитьMy father-in-law surprised my wife and I with a time share in Orlando. He covered the initial payment of $850 on his credit card. The monthly payments were then going to go on his credit card. He had no real clue what was coming.
I did the math and realized I could stay on the Disney or Universal property itself, with all its benefits, for less money, instead of at this hotel miles from the parks. (Plus, have my vacation dates dictated to me.)
I called the company and immediately tried to get out of it and got a serious run around and then a brush off.
He had signed all kinds of contracts, and they were going to get his money or destroy his credit. (Damn thing read like a mortgage commitment.)
After two days of phone calls, it hit me. My father-in-law's first language was Spanish. So I called and asked for the Spanish copy he signed.
He was actually illiterate in English.
They called me back and offered a compromise. They kept $450 of his $800 for fees and abrogated the contract.
I probably could have pushed for it all but it was a bitch and I would probably have had to go to a lawyer. I took the $400 loss and ran.
Never use a will. Use POD and trusts. Look them up and get rid of your will.
ОтветитьDon't give dave ramsey any credit. He is a fraud himself.
ОтветитьThe idea that salesmen will lie is hardly new.
ОтветитьSeeing Daniel O'Brien mid rant about a movie he cares way too much about, is exactly how I hoped he was spending his days while working on this show
ОтветитьWell, good to know I need to be on alert for when my estranged father dies so I don't get saddled with his timeshare (that he tried multiple exit companies to escape)
