I did a test from the "truity" 16 personalities site - and apparently my ideal type is an INFJ (I am INFP).
My mum (INFJ) ideal type is an ISTJ.

This is accurate for both of us, because the characters I tend to have a crush on are INFJs and one actor and the character that actor played as, are both ISTJs and mum has a crush on both the actor and the character, haha.

I'm an ISTJ but I was so so annoyed about my partner being all the spontaneous stuff

Why is it that i am an ESFP but i always end up relating with the ISFP character so much and hardly ever with ESFP?

INTJ here. Created a plan and a strategy in 1993-94 that my ESFJ spouse began to execute in 2008 and finished in 2016. Of course, ESFJ has no clue that I had everything planned.

Intj here... Facts... I've had my life planned since childhood and even wrote "will not date till 25" I'm 24 now and still abide by that "law" I wrote at 8😐

As I've gotten closer to 25 I've wanted to stay more and more single - simply because it'd be a new uncontrollable variable introduced into my life formula that I honestly don't want to deal with atm, because I have so many other things I'm working to accomplish, and I don't want to risk a relationship getting in the way of/slowing down the process. I'm working on looking at it in a more positive light, but honestly as of right now... The pros and cons list isn't looking too good 😅

I'm an ISFP and here's my two cents on this topic:
"Just liking" has never been enough of a criteria for me, even when I exploite my leading function "only". I often find my moral covictions batteling with my feelings. On one hand, when talking to a person I fancy, I can't help but expericence and show affection (non-verbally by large), but on the other hand, I can't allow myself to get together with them if our values don't align.
