Feker is made by Epomaker?
ОтветитьPlate mount VS Screw in stabs... It was Keychron all along.
ОтветитьThe Q8 has 2 fn switches. If you are a programmer, would recomend just buying the Q8
Ответитьis it possible to use gateron low profile on this? I kinda want it to flat like laptop keyboard
Ответитьanatomically Keychron has the right space bar (not touching the B). it seems your fingers are shorter and it may be the reason why keychron is not comfortable for you
ОтветитьFunny thing, for people who use languages with special characters keychron is actually more ergonomic because if you switch your fn button with alt these special characters become way more accessible than on a standard keyboard, my wpm in my native language skyrocketed when i switched to Q8. Nevertheless feker is way better value proposition, and if not for that button placement i would pick it over keychron.
ОтветитьRom is very generous. An ergo keyboard that has an anti-ergo quirk definitely is a big deal and defeats its purpose. Thank you for pointing that out because I definitely considered buying this for its ergonomic style.
ОтветитьFor left handed user considering the Feker, you can actually do a little mod by cutting off part of the casing around the left space bar (the two tabs that fill the gap) to fit a 2.75u keycap in it. That will give you more length for your left thumb to press on.
Ответитьholy smokes the feker sounds 1000x better stock!
ОтветитьCan you remap all the keys on the feker and can you create more layers?
ОтветитьThank you. I got the Feker Alice for work and paired it with Epomaker Sea Salt Silent switches for work and love it. Now looking to swap my home board from a GMMK Pro brick to the Q10 but the pics look like the middle angles down a bit (the Q8 looked very flat), opposite of how your wrists naturally are. Have you had a chance to test the Q10 yet?
Ответитьfor me the extra key accessible by thumb is the selling point. It is not a flaw, it is a great feature.
ОтветитьThe center spacing in Feker is more because of the design - there elevation in the center.
For centre elevation there has to be a center line which is not touched by either half of the keyboard. In keychron, since there is not center elevation, and hence no need of central untouching line is there making it possible to keep the gap smaller. It has nothing to do with plastic or alumunium.
The Q10 solves the spacebar issue, and the Feker Alice75 has an aluminum body. So strictly based on typing ergonomics, do you prefer the angled layout of Q, or the curved layout of Feker?
ОтветитьAesthetics wise… That large space on the Q8 between the windows key and left arrow key bothers me
ОтветитьKeychron upped the ante with the new V10 Alice. Cheaper, full featured and with 5 nice fully programmable macro buttons.
I'd like to see a comparison between that and the Feker.
What is the best Alice keyboard I can get with worldwide shipping right now?
Does not matter the budget.
Or something you can recommend me.
I saw one for $400 a year ago and I loved it.
Was really liking what I saw about the Feker Alice 80 until I looked at the position of Ctrl/Alt/Win - using that on a Mac will be brutal, much easier and consistent to put the Win key between Ctrl and Alt. Bit of a deal breaker.
ОтветитьReally great review! Love the advice at the end about being comfortable.
ОтветитьOnly made in china can beat made in china!
ОтветитьThanks for the review video! Starting my Alice journey with the Q10 for the fact that the aluminium body offers a bit more in terms of sturdiness and stability.
ОтветитьCan someone explain how you press the "~" key on those keyboards?
ОтветитьLEFT SPACEBAR FOR BACKSPACE !!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHey romsicle! The Alice 80 has a slight tent to it. Has this made the keyboard a bit uncomfortable to type on by any chance?
ОтветитьI almost bought the Keychron, but I think that now I am going with the Feker Alice 80 instead.
Update: bought the fekker Alice and I like it. Just a personal preference but I don't love yellow switches so I'll be swapping them out
I like metal housings, it’s sadge that so many of them end up sounding super hollow out of the box
ОтветитьWhat is the name of your lamp on the monitor?
ОтветитьThumb position is the main factor for me too.
ОтветитьIt's interesting that the Q10 does not have the same spacebar positioning problem as it's sibling Q8 - I've been really enjoying the Q10 so far
Ответитьfeker alice 80 can be configured with via sofrware
ОтветитьHow about using mac os? Mac os needs 3 modifier keys to the left of the space bar. Control-Option-Command.
Ответитьthanks for the review.. was thinking about the feker board
Ответить100%
that q8 spacebar placement is a problem
When is Feker making a F key Alice! ❤️
ОтветитьNice review. I kind of hate the spacebar implementation on all Alice layouts. I always feel like either left handers or right handers get screwed on each one. I appreciate you taking the time to point out your own experience with that. Thanks.
Ответитьum apparently the feker alice 80 has via compatibility as well... but you need to contact the taobao seller for it, and need a wechat or qq account to access the foler
ОтветитьThank you for the comparison video between these 2 keyboards, i am considering to buy one of the 2 and luckily came across your video 👍
ОтветитьQ8 is more faithful to the original TGR Alice with the staggered/bumped position keys. Could say they are paying homage to it, but the Feker definitely looks smoother/straighter.
ОтветитьThe alice 80 also have 2 option for the switches. Yellow and feker matcha
ОтветитьSadly without Numblock. Nice Review! :)
ОтветитьThere certainly was a bit of hollowness to the sound, which is surprising because of all the silicone and foam it has.
Ответить
