Hi Petr, I am older than you and can really relate to your thoughts on experiencing the big changes in technology. I hate to date myself but I can remember the days when Bag Phones were new and ground backing tech. Your first Nokia phone was many years later. Great video Petr and enjoyed the small clip you included with Bill Gates.

I když jsme stejně staří, tak si toho pamatuju více - chodili jsme volat do telefonní budky, než zavedli pevnou linku - telefonní budky byly u školy na Dubině, po zavedení pevné linky to byl game changer - přišel i dial-up vytáčený internet, s tím šíleným zvukem - rychlost 56 kb/s a platilo se za minutu připojení (pamatuju jak to jednou taťka přepískl s dobou na netu a platili rodiče hodně za internet). Jinak taky jsme měli prvně počítač který byl v klávesnici - Amiga 600 a byli na to peckové hry, pamatuju si jak jsem se těšil, až mě taťka vyzvedne ze školky a budeme hrát Lotus Turbo Challenge 2. Pak první počítač (Pentium 150Mhz). Ano já měl první telefon Nokia 3310 a na něm legendárního hada. Pak první telefon který měl barevným display a stereo vyzváněním (Motorola E398). Je toho hodně a když si člověk vzpomene na tu dobu, tak je to šílené kde se to za krátkou dobu posunulo. A teletext jsem nikdy nepochopil jak to funguje a jak v něm listovat, stejně jako jsem v první práci nechápal Fax (ještě tam před pár lety fungoval).

Oh this video was so good! Like many other. I feel like I am the lucky bastard who had the priviledge to live at least third of my life without internet and cell phones, and I feel so sorry for younger population who missed this. I see so much worries in nowadays and in the future, but the same kind of idea has been in my mind also: maybe we learn to find a healthy way to live with all this technology. But how? I would like to see that human beings are not so dumb that they get dystopia happen. We all agree that tecnology doesn't give as the same pleasure and feeling of safety as what real people give us. In many countries people have already noticed the negative effect on being on the screen too much. I guess we might find the way to keep the technology as part of life, not destroying our life. At least if the world geopolitic situation doesn't escalate badly...
I hope you'll do that video about future ideas that you talked about in the end of this video.
I've actually heard that some kids these days are going 'low tech' meaning they are going back to simple 'flip-phones' instead of smartphones, but I guess it may just be a short lived fad/trend, the next 10 years will be probably be unbelievable in terms of tech progress. Hold on tight!
