When you use steel utensils on teflon, the communists win.
ОтветитьNever use the deep fryer never used as barbecue. And has his old lady looking over him. Make sure he doesn't get hurt looking good bro
ОтветитьI’m Learning so much from this channel I love it 😂 appreciate you bro ❤
ОтветитьHm, I would not deep fry it, but rather pan fry or, bake.
Ответитьthrow a spoon or a spinner and troll for them. pike every 30 seconds.
ОтветитьBimba❤❤❤
ОтветитьHey Jay. Quick question. I’ve targeted pike before when I was in Minnesota, but only caught two miniature ones. I know to target weeds, wood, and rocky shoreline points, but is there anything else I should look for? I know what lures to use as well. I’m just not sure how to gauge my lure depth, and If I let my lures hit bottom, they’re almost certainly going to be lost in rocks, weeds, or wood. I also wouldn’t really be able to use electronics other than a portable fish finder that only looks straight down. Any tips? The lakes I would be in could be normal lakes OR Canadian Shield style lakes. So either average pike fishing lake, or cold, crystal clear, only structure being rocks and fallen trees. Should I change tactics depending on style of lake? It’s all just a bit overwhelming and confusing for me.
ОтветитьGrace... a must, thanks for the content
ОтветитьCan confirm, Jay makes this look quite easier than it is lol
ОтветитьThe fact that you catch that many pike is just crazy! Wish I could just catch 1 at my lakehouse!
ОтветитьMan seems like the Ontario side of lake of the woods is way better then the Minnesota side, nice fish man.
ОтветитьMan, My goal when I was a little girl was to catch a northern pike.
ОтветитьWhich lake are you fishing on?
ОтветитьThats actually a great idea to add it to the greens... i bet rice would be great too like she said... even make a lemon fish drizzle.
ОтветитьThois is they BEST clensing pike vif iv have ever seen!?!?!??! Even my grandpa didnt teach me this much, and he and his family survived on pike in Sweden in the start of the 1900s
ОтветитьI have never caught a pike! I want one!

ОтветитьNorthern pike r so underrated eating fish and game fish
ОтветитьWhy do Pike always look so pleased to be caught?
ОтветитьThe Next Time You Go Fishing And Put Your Catch Back Will You Please Instead Of Putting Your Catch Back Take It Your Catch Home And Give What You Don't Want To Passers By On The Street Who Will Take Them Home And Eat Them Saving Them Money On There Days Shopping Because They Will Be Thanking You For Them 👍🙂❤️
ОтветитьNice fishy! Nice tips :)
ОтветитьWow this video was great until this high maintenance woman came in to the video... Run away Jay save yourself!! Sweet jesus
ОтветитьI am absolutely no good cook, caught my first pike in the middle of the summer, just threw it in the pan and found it amazing. I don't know what problem people have. All princesses nowadays..
ОтветитьYes! Northern pike are invasive in Colorado so I hope I can replicate this!
ОтветитьLimousine Fish
ОтветитьYeah, here in Michigan they have to be over 24 inches and there’s no max limit so a 36 to 40 inch pike is common
ОтветитьDo you not remove the scales?
ОтветитьI've fished and ate Pike my entire life. The best eating size is. The bigger, the better. They don't taste any different at a larger size. The biggest benefit is that the bigger they are, the easier they are to clean. I don't even keep them unless they are 26+ inch. Once they are that size, the Y bone is super easy to fillet out of the fish. If it's too small, the Y bone is harder to fillet around and remove. Also, once you get to 26+ one pike is a meal for 2 people. I've eaten pike all the way up to 40-42 inch, and they still taste the same.
ОтветитьWow me and my dad caught a good pike and cooked it using this method now pike is my favourite freshwater fish
Ответитьpike is the best freshwater beast
ОтветитьAmazing video! very interesting to watch, even though i do not eat pike myself. Don't beat your self up by technical problems and not being "very good". We are humans, we are allowed to make mistakes, just like any other animal ;)
Ответитьthat boat is sweet
ОтветитьNice video, but that’s a lot of blood in the fish. You don’t knock it unconscious and cut the throat open when catching it?
I usually cut it into cubes with the Y bone included and put it through a meat grinder with bacon and taco spice mix. Then make it into burgers and fry it on the frying pan.
Excellent video quality, explanation, and demo!
ОтветитьIce/cold water pike is awesome might be even better then walleye in alot of cases...easy to catch and abundent so whats not to like!
ОтветитьHow do you mis guess 22 when it’s almost 28 lol
ОтветитьWhere do u fish in Ontario to catch so many pikes
Ответитьi just did my own 10 minutes before this video im eating it as i watch it
ОтветитьAhhh what an awesome and educational video! and that Pike was looking delicious.
God bless
Rehardless of those 'technical difficulties' (cuz i didn't even notice!) it was a great video brother
Ответитьhe reels so fast, I always find no matter what the slower I reel any bait the more likely I am to a) catch a fish but b) the hooks really get deep/harder to get off
ОтветитьI just caught my first two Northern Pike today! So I found this video and am glad I did!
Ответитьgorgeous
ОтветитьDid I heard it right, you can't keep the pike if it's over 75cm but it's okay if it's smaller ?, weird logic. For us in lithuania we can keep it only if it's over 50cm and nothing smaller
ОтветитьWhat rod and reel you use with what rating line😊
ОтветитьNortherners love their Wallies but in Missouri we love our pike more than any other fish and we always have the discussion as to how much we would love to have northern pike. Most people up north think of pike as a nasty fish with too many bones and not worth keeping but we live them so much
ОтветитьI'm in Ohio There's a creek down the road from me with Tons of northern pike Think I'm gonna go out later today See if I can catch one and I will eat it There is no daily limit in Ohio and is no size limit but I won't go over board I'm just keeping one
Ответитьdude you got me back into fishing man good job love the vids let me know if ever come to northern ontario / timmins area
Ответить
