2023. Been there so many times when I was in Bangalore. AND DAMN!, THE TASTE IS AMAZING. There ain't any idlis in Bangalore that come close to Iyer Idli.

@Munchies Kindly please rename the video title of "The Idli King of Bangalore", this place doesn't deserve the title nor the hype.
I live about a kilometer away from this place, looking at the long line outside the shop, thought the idly might be good, but its not what you guys can think of from the way videos are made or shown on social media, for one to believe, you need to really come down to taste it.
The idly is not soft, the batter is over fermented and has a pungent flavor and smell, the chutney is ok, not bad, additionally they serve Uddin vade which is below par.
If i were to rate this place out of 5, it would definitely be a 2/5.

Mom is a typical Tamiz Brahmin Iyer while Son has become a proper Kannadiga Brahmin. Hope Son speaks good Tamiz as well like His Mom and vice versa :) Indeed a very inspirational family. Hope that Dad is all smiles up there, seeing His dear wife and son making him proud.

To be really true I also think of selling idlees, from childhood itself there is something fascinating about making idlee and selling them ,cause one of my relatives was doing these ,☺️

I am waiting to hear the price of that idly... But no one is telling that.

I Visit in few days back in cuttney they are mixing water , it disappoints me after visiting to eat idly from long distance
