When you hit someone with aim assist their aim will straight up lock onto you and not let go.

I see this all the time. Their aim is off me, but as soon as I hit then I can see a clear aim punch on their killcam followed by their crosshair centering on my upper chest and not leaving.

Is he on standard dynamic or linear?

Funny thing abt this vid is that in a gun fight people shoot (if u didn't know) and when u shoot ur screen moves and ur gunna be moving around trying not to get shot so it's very different from a guy just walking around the crosshair and an actual gun fight

Strange how I can't replicate that. Even on an enemy standing still in pregame I have no rotational aim assist. ZERO. The only sticky I've found is if a player is running and you aim the white dot directly on them before ADS you will get a sticky aim. Nice Cronus though.

M&K players shouldn't be forced to compete with that. This is both absurd and infuriating.

If they're not gonna let controllers aim by themselves a little then they have to make separate playlists for m/k players. Or at least put the control method as the #1 matchmaking criteria.

No human can compete with the AI reaction time of the game tracking for you. That’s what kbm players hate about CoD. As a kbm player I have to wait until my enemies movement is visible to adjust, often times the enemy gets lost behind muzzle flash, barrel smoke, and incoming damage/screen shake. By the time you make the adjustment it’s too late. That’s why the whole “you have your arm to aim” bs never held weight. The game is literally tracking enemy strafe for you con controller. It’s often the difference in gun fights. Complaining about AA was never about the stickiness, I’ve been playing controller for the last few months its not at all hard to learn. There’s a trade off rn, but I’m slowly getting better at things like movement and long range but it’s easy to see that someone that’s played controller their entire life can abuse this shit.

I switched to keyboard and mouse the only things that annoy me is that players using controller that get stunned are at more of an advantage because they still keep aim assist while being stunned and can track you easily, they should disable aim assist to players that are stunned for that time, but when I was in controller most of the time I felt like i was having to battle the aim assist because it was messing my aim up and wasn’t making my bullets hit i.e when someone’s gliding in the air and I’m on ground level the aim assist is just always off and I have to battle it and it makes it harder but I’m almost 5 months in to keyboard and mouse and getting good at it and it feels much better imo

That's how all console players play. Just hold the control and wait for someone to run past so the aim assist will track for 2 seconds and then shoot. It's soooo easy. That's why everyone is on console controller.

I dont care about aim assist that much as a KBM player. The only really broken thing about aim assist is only when you stun a controller player and happen to run through his crosshair. It sticks no matter what... Aim assist should be deactivated automatically as long as you are stunned.

On mobile devices the aim assist is like 10% of the console one... WTF
